**This past week went well overall for the most part, Despite that I haven't taught any classes this past week. Or remained on track as well as I wanted. I've moved my Regular class down to only ONE day a week for the rest of this month, until everyone decides to get on-board, & to see if things will improve for now. And with the Senior Center being closed for due to Covid, I'm sure I will not be teaching those classes anytime soon for now. I still haven't heard anything yet, but I'm guess maybe not until Early-Mid spring for now, or maybe longer.

**I was having issues with my leg due to a previous injury, and I started physical therapy this week for that to help. So that will occupy my time a few days a week for at least the rest of this month. And today I was feeling pretty sore afterwards. And between that and not teaching classes like before, I haven't been getting the activity in so far this month like I had hoped for..... Starting next week I'm hoping to devise a plan for myself to incorporate & remain active with both the Physical Therapy and the One class a week that I hope to teach for now.... The weather seems so much colder than usual, but I'm hoping to get a little more active outdoors next week with some slightly milder temps ahead.

**Its been rather disappointing recently to look around and see many of my Zumba Instructor friends lose their Zumba classes at their gyms. Mainly due to Covid and low attendance. Its so strange how on one end of town classes thrive, and in other areas only 10minutes away its a "Dead Zone". Its just sad as many of us started teaching around the same time yrs ago..... And when Im not teaching, I like to attend THEIR classes! Its now down to only 2 local facilities that I can attend Zumba other than my own .But those classes are on the other end of town. That is just my main cardio Go-to workout that I thrived off of the past 10years. So it looks like I won't have a choice but to drive further this year if I want to continue to attend a class in these times that we are in. But I'm not even currently ready to attend a "gym" just yet with the pandemic still going on. I just want to have options when I'm ready.

**Today (Saturday) looks like a possible lazy day ahead, as its going to be VERY cold today. I don't like being out in the cold. My body can't handle that intense chill. So Will try to get stuff done around the house for the most part. And attempt to plan for the week ahead to get back and remain on track.

ENJOY THE WEEKEND~yes

@PoliteOcean Hi Poli Red heart

I have been good mostly.

Yeah, half a month is gone and so is the zest of the new year resolutions.

Had lost my habit of getting up early (again), but getting back to it this week Grinning

This week I plan to make a habit of going to the park with my cousin in the mornings.

I always try to improve in some way or another. So, hopeful about an improved year ahead

@DonaldDraper

Hey there DD!

Hopefully the "Zest" for any lost resolutions aren't as important as the "Zest" to Keep up our Goals for the New year!? But its great that you for the most part that you are doing good.

That "pesky" sleep schedule seems to be a sucker for many of us here. I too have not done well in that department. Hopefully you will be able to get back on track in the week ahead as planned with it as well as getting to the park. As you desire.

I think that is something most of us tend to strive for in one area of our life or another in the New Year (is improving in some area of our life). I choose to stay hopeful as well. When theres hope, theres a will and a way to make it happen. Cheers! And thanks for checking in this week.

@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday was my first day of getting back to society after being quarantined. smiley My caretaker took me grocery shopping and then for a walk. Usually I could only do one out of two activities, but I'm getting stronger so I did both. Wednesday I went for another walk. Friday was my first acupuncture appointment. I've been looking forward to it for 8 years. Previously, my acupuncturist said they take my insurance, but now they are saying they don't know if they take it. It's really upsetting. sad I'm tired of wasting my life away doing nothing. I want to move out before my house manager puts a creepy old man into my bedroom. I have my own bedroom, and I like it that way. I had a nightmare that one of my creepy roomies touched me, and I woke up screaming at the top of my lungs. sad I'm taking a new programming language named "R", and I thought I would never be able to learn a new language as a disabled person. I'm still fixing my own lunches, which is important to me. smiley My goal for this year is to cut down on my coffee drinking. I drink 10 cups of coffee per day. I can only cut down on coffee if I get acupuncture in combination with other treatments.

@Regmo

Hey there Regmo!..How awesome for you that you were able to finally get out and about and do some of the things that you've been wanting to do for awhile. Its great for you that were able to get in BOTH activities in the same day. And how great for you that you are also feeling stronger!.....I think that is so strange that they didn't at least let you know further in advance that your insurance might be an issue in regards to your accupuncture. Were you able to actually go through with getting it done?.I'm sure its frustrating for you, as Insurance issues usually tend to be unfortunately. frown.... Hopefully you will be able to continue to keep your own private room. I don't blame you for not wanting to have to share it. I'm an only child so I never really had to share much throughout my life. So The one or two times that I did take on a roomate it wasn't easy and didn't end well. And its so easy to get set in our ways when we have it easy of being able to have things the way we want them without someone else upsetting that balance for us. How great for you that you continue to learn new things and keep yourself mentally stimulated in so many ways by taking on so many new courses and programs. Thats a good thing that you are continuing to make your own lunches. I know how important that is for you to do! As far as coffee, I don't drink it, but that does sound like it could be alot? Have you tried maybe decreasing it by maybe one cup a day or even a week? Starting off slow to wean yourself down a little? Or maybe even try a half of a cup instead of a whole one? Maybe take baby-steps could help. Continue to keep us up to date on that goal and how you are doing with it. We are here to support you in any way that we can. Thank you so much for continuing to check in with us and letting us know how things are going with you.

*Hey Everyone~ How have you been doing this past week?! It's been up and down.

**We are already HALF WAY through the month of January already!... Wow can you believe how fast time is going already?!.... How are you doing in your New Years "GOALS"?! It's weird. I'm a list maker, but I have not really set any goals this year. Honestly I just feel stuck. I think my biggest goal is self improvement.

**What is ONE Healthy thing that you've done for yourself this week both "Physically" & "Mentally"?! I have a release book aND I wrote in it, I updated my computer, I got out and went for a walk

**If you could choose 'ONE' new healthy habit or goal for yourself in the coming week ahead, WHAT would that be? What could you work on for yourself? Walk more

**In what ways or areas would you like to improve in during the year ahead? What steps will you take to implement that? Less soda, more active, write more, publish something

**What have been your "Highlights or Struggles" this past week? How did you work through the Struggles? I keep arguing in my head and overthinking. I keep thinking my boyfriend is more into his ex than me, but the truth is he is barely talking to her. She is trying to be friends with me, I'm very apprehensive.

**What would "YOU" like to talk about or share with us about your Week?! WE want to hear from "YOU"~yes I haven't really blogged in months, that is how blocked I am

@Rebekahwriter13

Hey there Rebekah its good to see you check in this week.

Its ok that you haven't really set a true goal for yourself or made a list to do that. Its not set in stone anywhere that we "have" to do that. So I think its great that you are just aiming for some overall "Self Improvement"! I believe somebody else here mentioned that as well. Thats a great goal to make, and to aim for over the course of the year. Its one that we can do day by day, little by little, no time limit and we have an entire year to do it in! Keep going! Great job.

Wow..sounds like you worked on and got alot of good healthy stuff done for yourself this past week. Awesome work! And great job on getting out for that walk!! And how awesome that you made some "steps" for yourself to continue the path in improving this year moving forward. (Less soda, more active, write more.....) Those are all great steps and goals to help you get there!

I can certainly relate to "arguing in your own head and overthinking too much". I wish there was an easier way to get around those things when they happen. I know even when we try to, that its not always an easy thing to do to get them to disappear..... And relationships can be so complex. Hopefully you will get it all figured out. Have you talked to your boyfriend about how you are feeling?

Thanks for checking in this week with us and for letting us know how things have been going for you .

How nice that you got to enjoy a "Staycation"! What did you do or enjoy during this time? Its ok when that you may have missed your activities for a day or two, but its great that you took time for yourself and that you were able to get back on track with things! Continue to keep up the great work! And thanks so much for checking in and letting us know how things are going for you.

This past week was fairly good, I’ve had my up and downs but overall it’s been good :) I would say not so good but I did make some progress, I don’t emotionally eat as often anymore but I don’t know... I feel like nothing is happening... maybe it’s my sense of time disappearing again 😅 I have managed to workout 3 times this past week and I’ve eaten healthier than usual and I also journaled a bit. Drink water when I wake up and listen to my body when I eat so I won’t end up stuffing myself and feeling bad. In the mental area and a bit in the physical area. I’ll eat things that make me feel good and eat in proportions because I don’t believe in restricting myself it just make my binging worse. And uh in the mental area I journal a bit and I also would like to try out meditation My struggles this past week was dealing with my mood changing constantly it’s hard to do normal tasks when it happens but my highlight was being able to eat proper breakfast this WHOLE week :D

**Hey Everyone~ How have you been doing this past week?! - Hey hey hey, I've been doing okay. Been up and down but just going with the flow.

@Goldcherry2113

Hey there!.... Going with the flow sounds just fine. I like to call it staying in the middle and "Thriving". If our heads are above the water and we are thriving, we are doing well.

Sorry to hear that your depression has you feeling like you've been "slacking" this past week. I know that can be difficult, and its so good that you were able to have time with and talk to your therapist. But its great for you that are feeling better and able to get back on track with things. And that you were able to get in time with YOGA and incorporate some journaling for yourself. Great job!

Taking your meds on time and not when you feel like it is surely a great goal and healthy habit to work on and work towards this year. I know that can sometimes be a struggle as well. Especially if your sleep schedule tends to get off track, or the day itself. Or if you tend to be forgetful in taking them. My sleep schedule is personally a little off track right now, so my morning med has been falling behind as well. So We can do this!

Writing and sketching more and improving your creativity with it is a really great thing to work towards improving for yourself this year. If Its something that is important to you, then its totally worth implementing and stiving towards!

This has been a really great check-in for you! You sounds really positive this week and I see you have alot of great vision for yourself and the year ahead in the things you want to work on and strive for. You've got this! Keep up the great work that you are doing! And thanks so much for checking in to let us know how things are continuing to go for you!

6. my jaw has been hurting me and it makes me stressed and uncomfortable but i asked my mom for help, took medicine for it, relaxed, and distracted myself when i was focusing on the pain too much
