**This past week has been pretty steady~... Another appointment or two, teaching Fitness classes, etc.... Nothing new. Continuing to try to do my best to stay on track and plan... Eating has been decent, (Not perfect like I feel I usually am with it, but I just seemed to get a little more off track since Easter came).... I did alot better though this past week.....My sleep has been going really great, and water has surely been increased since the weather has gotten warmer...... I will admit I got a little down on myself for not being at or closer to my goal by now knowing that I had alot of time to do so....But something has been "clicking" lately that as I look around me, and look at social media of "old friends" or even Top-Star actresses and such that I grew up watching, that "Time" is a crazy little thing..... and I realize, that nobody is perfect. And even the ones that you "Thought" were perfect or "looked" perfect etc.....its no longer the case. People get older, people gain weight for whatever their reason might be...people don't always look or stay the same....... (But all we can do is the best that we can do to take care of ourselves in the best way that we can..... everything from getting in activity, eating well, sleeping well, SELF-CARE time,etc....If we our nourishing ourselves with all these things, then we truly are doing the BEST that we can do for ourselves! despite how we might think we look or feel~ And It was like an "epiphany' for me to not be so hard on my own self all the time.... ~ That I am enough and I'm good enough....~ If that makes sense. I'm getting there!

**The weather has been AWESOME this past week, sunny, very warm, and I spent several days walking with my mom and husband and also at the Lakeside with my Dog.... My husband and I were going to eat at the Tiki Bar for lunch at the lake mid-week but it was the ONLY day it decided to be cloudy frown.... So we'll choose another day sometime~ I'm so happy that summer and its weather are practically here.... It helps me to feel much more mellow during the day, especially being near the water on a Sunny day~.... And while I won't be celebrating any graduations.... I will be looking forward to Mother's Day time with my son and my own Mother, as well as the Memorial Day Holiday at the end of the month..... and looking forward to continuing on track and plan as well.

**Today is the anniversary of the passing of my Grandmother 15years ago... She was practically my 2nd mother... and helped to raise me, and always stood up for me......I miss her and I miss all of our talks and time together... I miss her dearly and can't believe its been this many years already without her in my life.....So I will be thinking of her even moreso this month with her passing and Mothers day coming....~ Cherish your time with your loved ones as much as you ableheart.

**Today is also my FREE day, but I will be going to a ZUMBA class in the morning to help out another instructor at our studio...(hopefully if I can manage to get up on time!)surprise.....Its such an early class, and I'm by no means an early workout person! ~ But its the only thing I can do to get activity in today because I have SOOO many errands to run today as well., And its supposed to rain too crying........But I'm determined to stay on track for "Me"~

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND~ HAPPY MAY! yes

Another busy week. Time is sure going fast. April was done too quickly and May is moving quickly. Still goal setting to stay on track. Did not do as well this week. Maybe taking on too many projects and feeling more stress then I should. Diet was a not as good as I would like, but I guess since I know this, it should help get back on track this week. Weekend will be spent indoors doing minor painting projects. Maybe some outdoor work between raindrops. Plants outside are starting to bloom and I have a lot of planting to do in a few weeks. I find outside garden work a good stress buster. Enjoy your weekend.smiley

@sail46

Hey there Sail!

I completely agree...its been Sooo incredibly busy and things really do seem to be flying by?!... I have started to ask myself "What month" I'm in or "What day it is" because its all starting to blend together too much......

I'm so glad to hear that even though you may have not made some of the best or healthiest choices, that you are realizing that for yourself and are continuing to make plans to help yourself stay on track. I think thats what it could be too, just added stress of taking on more things... .(and for me, learning to say NO when I need to).

Its great that you continue to make outdoor plans for yourself... I am tryining to continue to do the same between teaching classes and various appointments lol.... Being outside is truly a wonderful stress reliever when you are doing something that you love and enjoy! I'm glad that you find great enjoyment in your gardening. Hoping you are continuing to enjoy your week! Thanks so much for checking in!

For May I'm looking forward to the weather warming up. Most of April was odd for spring, the weather was too consistent, but the last week we had a fair bit of snow - luckily it never stuck around, but I'm hoping that means no snow later this month!

No major celebrations this month, we recognize Mother's day and even if there were graduations those are typically in June here but I don't think we have any at all (although who knows maybe I'll find out my nephew has a 'graduation' for his first of I think it's 3 years of preschool indecision I think the graduation celebrations have gotten a bit excessive).

My personal trainer has changed up her classes, so it means less overall that are suitable for me and really none on days where I need to not be as hard on myself, so disappointed in that. I'm going to keep going, but I might need to switch to some other options some weeks.

My workout this week felt a bit off. It was traditional circuit, which I have been doing more of and I felt like I was resting more but it did totally exhaust me. My asthma is still flared up though, so I think that might be some of it. I actually wasn't coughing much which was a bit of a surprise as I can't seem to get through a phone call without coughing a ton. My heart rate was quite high throughout even during breaks - I think extra asthma meds plus the asthma itself is to blame and I had a bit where I felt a bit lightheaded. Still, I got through it all although with some extra breaks. With the coughing controlled it was better than I expected for this week.

@AffyAvo

Hey there Affy!....

Thats a wonderful thing to look forward to for May! I think ALOT of feel that way now that its finally arrived!... I know I am one of them. It feels so good that its actually starting to warm up without all the "back and forth" in the weather pattern.

Where I 'm from up North originally, our graduations were typically in June as well lol.. It must be a northern thing of course... but here in the south where I've been for a good while now, its in May.. Which is funny because the Seniors are ALL done with school like the 2nd week of May?!!.. That is early! And then ceremonies start the week before Memorial Day.

Haha.. I agree with you on the 'Graduations' getting a bit excessive.. I totally understand wanting to celebrate "milestones" and achievments though.... I get it.. But its like everyone is having them now for everything... Its getting to the point 'here' where people are taking their kids on cruises for graduating "MIDDLE" school??!... I'm like an adult and have only gone on "One" cruise my entire life, and had to wait to I was in my late 30's to get to that point lolol......

Sorry to hear about the Personal Training situation.....Its good that you won't let it discourage you too much and that you will keep going until you can figure out the best situation for yourself!

Sorry to hear that you have dealt with so much in regards to trying to get those workouts in, as well as dealing with health situations on top of it all...It can be frustrating to want and to know that we need to workout... that we should "on some level" whatever it may be or whatever is best for a person.. but it gets frustrating when situations arise that sometime we have no control over that we now have to figure out ways around it all WHILE NOT hurting ourselves, or doing any other unwanted issues.... For me, its been aging and while I'm still in my early 40's , aging comes with its own issues... things just feel more , and can tend to hurt more etc...So I have to start doing some research of my own and what can help with some of these things.....Its like having to be even more mindful of the simplest things I was able to do without even thinking about just last year!

Its great that you don't let your concerns stop you at all and I feel that is amazing in itself.. .I mean it may try to slow you down some at different times, but you never let any of it completely stop you. And thats Awesome!

Thanks so much for checking in again this week and letting us know how things have been going for you! Continue to keep us up to date~

The past week has been okay. I made a coworker friend who will help inspire me in my work, I received some hobbie equipment so I can spend my time relaxing doing the stuff I am happy to learn about.

For the Month of May I am a little excited and scared about removing my wisdom teeth, I feel the same way for my meeting with a modelling agency, my goal is to make a lot of money and try my best to have a bit of a schedule and practice wellbeing early and throughout my day so I can keep my productivity and health high.

Hey there Avery!

Sounds like while you had a few up and down moments that it actually turned out be a really big UP for you in the end by seeing some beautiful things and moments.....Perhaps you can share what those were sometime?

Its great that you are feeling really positive!.....and that you are planning and preparing to have a Positive mindset of doing well in school, getting back to working out and visiting those you care about! All really great plans!

Sorry to hear that you had some struggles the past week with things especially your mental health and staying focused. I personally can relate to that at times, and I know its not always easy to just relax and deal with things.....

However, its great that you were able to get yourself centered, and feeling calm again, ......and what better way than to be near a Lake!? Thats awesome!...Being near or close to water can be so calming and tranquil and can do a WORLD of good for our mental and emotional well-being!... Even with the rain falling into it... I bet it was all quite lovely!

I hope that you were able to get in some workout AS WELL as studying time! wink

Thanks so much for checking in and letting us know how things have been going for you! Be sure to check back and keep us up to date on how you are doing!

Wow I'm late!

How has it been going for you over the past week?! How have things been? The past week has been quite difficult as I'm coming to terms with the fact I might die. I have severe microcytic anaemia and it has reached a point where I might go into heart failure. I'm scared. I finally want to live and that might be taken away from me. But I guess that's karma for you.

**Today is our "FIRST" check-in for the Month of "MAY"!.. How are you feeling about the New Month ahead?! What are your goals or plans? What are you looking forward to the MOST?! What about the Least? I'm obviously late replying to this thread but I think I didn't feel anything for this month ahead because it's just another month in my opinion. I guess I was stressing about so many birthdays and people to get presents for but I've dealt with it the best I can. For the rest of the month, not feeling much once again, it's nearly over and it'll be half term and that will go quickly so you know. I don't think I had many goals for this month, I mean to get my hair and nails better and improve my overall personality and looks. I wanted to reach the three-month mark and the 12-week mark with my boyfriend and I did reach both which I'm happy about, I think it will last for a long time. That was the thing I was looking forward to the most. I think the thing I'll be looking forward to the least is birthdays, that again because I'm not that good with presents and you know. This isn't written. I didn't get anything for my dad's birthday and I do feel guilty about it but it's too late I guess. We did go out for dinner. For my mum's birthday which is tomorrow, I did get her 5 small things but it's better than nothing and I hope she appreciates it. I have my nieces birthday next week but we're not on speaking terms so I don't know if I'm going to do anything for that. I don't know. I sound like such a bad person.

**The month of May can be a "Busy" month for lots of people with Mothers Day; School Graduations; Memorial Day Holiday etc...,,,, How many of you will be celebrating any of these? How many of you will graduate this month or have a child who will?! What steps will you take during this busy time or month for over-all Health and Well-being? I don't celebrate many holidays and there aren't many in England in May but for Mothers day I only got my mum a card which she was annoyed about and I felt guilty about but I'm not close with my mum and I've been extremely busy and not very motivated recently. I haven't taken any steps this month for my health or wellbeing but I am in bad health and I know I need to get better, I guess I just don't have the energy or motivation to. I'm not suicidal but I'm not bothered if I do die.

**What have been your "Highlights" Or "Struggles" over this past week? I think a highlight of the past week, so the past 7 days, has been reaching the 3-month mark with my boyfriend. I'm so glad we have lasted so long so that was special. The struggles have definitely got to be about my health and struggling with that, it's been really difficult but my mum and dad are trying to get me better. I just wish I would let them.

Hey there

So nice that you were able to reply to this post even if you were running behind .. and thats ok!.. No worries.

I'm so sorry to hear that things have been rather challenging for you recently, and I do wish you the best of luck on everything regarding your health and that things start to look up and go better for you. I hope that you have a good healthcare team and that they are able to get it all sorted out for you...

Don't be too hard on yourself for not knowing what to do for birthdays or what to get others... It happens. And it can be challenging to figure out what to get someone when either 1) you don't really know them too well to know what to get them, or... 2) they already have the things that they need so theres really not much left to get them!... Its challenging for sure. ... I'm sure whatever you do decide that its always the "thought" that counts behind it.

Congrats to you on your continuning relationship and that it is progressing well for you....sounds like things are continuing to go really great.. Just try not to think too much about things and just continue to be there for each other and support each other and I'm sure it will continue to go well for you!

Once again, good luck with everything, and if your parents are working towards helping you to get better, it sounds like they really care about you and that you have a decent support system with them during this time. So perhaps consider letting them help you and support you anyway that they can and are able.

Thanks for checking in and continuing to let us know how things have been going for you!

Hey there, I'm glad I did manage reply to this post I mean these are my favourite check-ins. Thank you for wishing me the best of luck, I appreciate it and I do have a good Healthcare team and they are able to get it sorted but I have said no to treatment.

I am always hard on myself in all honesty And I agree that it is the thought that counts behind it but not everyone thinks like that and even those people still feel disappointed if they don't get a present.

In my relationship, I am trying not to think about things too much but I struggle to do so as I always expect things to go wrong and I want to think of ways to make it go further etc... Just sitting back and letting things go well, well that's difficult for me, sad truth.

And then my parents trying to get me better looks like they care about me so much, I think it's more that though don't want to lose me like they lost my sister's and funerals cost. I know it sounds really bad and heartless me saying this but I've had a hard home life and I don't have a good relationship with my parents. I do feel entitled to think this way, in a way, maybe not entitled but you know. I don't have a decent support system that includes my parents: my support system includes my best friend's my friends and my boyfriend...although I think I might have lost one of my best friends. I will consider letting my parents help me it just scares me so much.
