🍁 This past week went pretty well and pretty fast...... While I kept up and kept on track with activity & workouts & teaching my classes, I'm still taking it easy & keeping things simple through the holidays... until I at least decide how I want to proceed through the Month of December and into the New Year ahead with my personal goals. Whether it be stick with what I am doing, or change things up a bit~ (Still working on my sleep schedule, & those water goals again during these colder months which is a bit more challenging).

🌻The week started off really nice and mild... but... that "late fall" weather has kicked-in as of today. So its going to be pretty chilly here over the next week. With the holiday week ahead, I'll only be teaching one class. And Try to get in what I can with other instructors Or at home..., & focus on Thanksgiving time with my family. My mom cooks each year at her home, So we go there..... One thing I DID do this past week, was Sign-up to get my KICK-BOXING License. Its apart of an "umbrella" Format that I am already licensed with, so they've newly added Kickboxing instruction as of September. It looked interesting. I haven't taken the training yet, but looking forward to it~

🍂 Today (Sat)... Intentions are to get up early to attend a Group fitness class, then run some "Holiday Errands" afterwards. There are some Local Holiday festivals going on around town, so hoping to maybe check-out one of those as well. And prepare for the Holiday week ahead~

ENJOY THE WEEKEND~ & HAPPY THANKSGIVING 🍗🌽🍖

🍁Hey Everyone, How has your week been?!

My week has been way too busy. I continue to cut back on things that don't need to be done by me, things that aren't getting me to my goal, and useless distractions. Slowly but surely, I'm making it all work.

🌽We have One more Full week of November left... With Thanksgiving fastly approaching, What is "ONE" thing that you were Most "GRATEFUL" for this past week?! What about over the "Past month"?

This week I'm thankful that I'm learning to say "no" and I'm thankful for my health as it's improved over the past month.

🍂 As many of us are getting ready to enter the Thanksgiving week ahead, How many of you will celebrate the day? What are your plans? What are you looking forwards to Most for that day? (What are some ways that you can try to keep it a healthy one for yourself?)

It's just me and my son here. I'm taking the day off just to chill. If it's warm enough, I might take a walk. We're picking up dinner from a local restaurant that's open because it's feeding the homeless that day.

🍁What have been your "Highlights or Challenges" this past week? How were you able to work through those challenges?!

Like I already mentioned, time. I'm taking little steps to remove things from my calendar and make room for more important things that are already there. I won't be adding anything (other than some socializing that I need to do anyway but even that'll be limited) for a while though so I really need to get stronger in my "No."

🌽What would "YOU" Like to talk about or share with us this week?! WE want to hear from YOU!

Can we discuss how to be better at saying "no?" I think this is something we all struggle with.

I hope everyone has a nice Thanksgiving.

Hey there Bre~

Despite your week being way too busy, its great that you are continuing to work on cutting back on things that aren't beneficial to you. And that you're making it all work for yourself!

Thats great that you are learning to do the things you need to do for "you" by saying "No" to things that may not be for you. And that you have found thankfulness in your improved health!

Thats awesome that you are taking the day off to just "chill" and relax with your son. And planning ahead to possibly fit in some outdoor activity by walking. And how nice that you are picking up dinner and finding simple ways to enjoy the day (and also in helping others by helping the homeless). Added benefits!

How great for you that you are taking the little steps needed to remove "clutter" and making room for the things that matter to you and are important. And continuing to work on improving areas in your personal lifestyle. Sounds like you are making some great strides there for yourself.

And I totally get what you are saying in finding it challenging to create those boundaries and be able to say "NO" sometimes when we need to!.. I too have struggled with that as I'm sure many of us here have done!... I too feel that I am finally in a great place and that I am done trying to "please" everyone but myself. Learning to say "NO" has finally kicked-in, and it certainly has taken quite a load and ALOT of stressors off of me thanks to being able to now do so! I'm not perfect yet at it, but, things have been alot better since being able to do so!

You do what you need to do for you!.. And thank you so much for sharing this week and continuing to let us know how things are going for you. And Happy Thanksgiving to you!

@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. Monday I went grocery shopping at a major supermarket. That was a huge step forward. I couldn't have done that a year ago. It shows that acupuncture is working. I also went for a walk. Wednesday I went to acupuncture with no walk. Friday I went to get a haircut, then went for a walk by the beach. My left leg is still shaking from stress about the special needs trust. I have no hope, I have no future, I have nothing to look forward to. I talked to my therapist during our last appointment about my leg shaking, and they didn't have anything to say about it. For this upcoming week, Monday I'm going grocery shopping and for a walk, Wednesday I have therapy and hopefully acupuncture later on in the day. Deysi has the day off on Friday. I hosted the sharing circle several times. I'm watching psychology videos about healing my inner child. For my devotional I'm studying the book of Psalms.

@Regmo

Hey there Regmo~..... How awesome that you were able to get out and about somewhere different. And that you found that you've made some progress for yourself in doing so! Good for you. And its great that you are seeing and finding the benefits of your acupuncture appointments. Thats awesome that you were also able to get to the beach. I will continue to say over and over how therapeutic the Beach is and can be for us on so many levels. Its good that you were able to talk to your therapist about your leg. Although I'm surprised to see that they had no suggestions for you? Did they not offer you any coping skills to help deal with the anxiety that you are feeling about everything? It sounds like that may be why its happening? Perhaps talking to a different healthcare provider could help? Therapist arent' the ones who can prescribe meds, but Psychiatrists can or your family healthcare provider as well. Especially if you feel that your therapist isn't listening to you or taking your concern seriously. Just something to think on or consider if needed. It sounds like you have a pretty full week ahead for yourself and its awesome that you are planning ahead to get your walks in as well. I think that even looking ahead at things the "little" things like that, can give us something to look forwards to. Simply getting out the house, getting fresh air and being around others can help. Great job on continuing to host the Sharing Circle! Looks like you have really found your niche there! And great work that you are doing on working towards healing yourself (and your inner child) and continuing to work on your devotionals. Thats progress! The Book of Psalms is really great. Some of the best things written there. Lots of great verses and life lessons there. Keep up the great work that you are doing for yourself Regmo. And thank you for continuing to share with us and letting us know how things are going for you.

🍁Hey Everyone, How has your week been?! It's been a rollercoaster. . . my boyfriend's ex keep crying wolf with suicide. She is in another state. We have called police for wellness check, we told her to get help. I am not sure what to do with it. (She keeps threatening my guy if they don't get back together, then she is going to take away her life. It's emotional blackmail, and not right. She really messed him up, and I am still trying tp help with his therapist. He keeps blaming himself for this; it's not his fault. I also think he and I both have missing pieces with her home life, but that is beside the point.) He is dealing with medical debt issues and needs to focus on his and his mom, not a suicidal ex. Please send then positive vibes and prayers. Thank you.

I have a medical procedure in Dec 6 and I have never been put under so I am very nervous. . . positive vibes and prayers for that as well.

I plan to see family and I am cooking as well. . . Turkey, stuffing, cranberry sauce, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, cream corn casserole, rolls, and pumpkin cheesecake dessert. . .

I looking forward to the food.

🍁What have been your "Highlights or Challenges" this past week? How were you able to work through those challenges?! I am still here, in one piece, so I guess so. I am more worried for my guy. I wish I could help him, but I'm between jobs and we are states away. Sighs.

Hey there Rebekah~

Well, while its great that you have not taken the threats of the ex lightly, and have taken the time to put in calls for wellness checks for her, its still not His responsibility to ensure her safety or her overall mental health. And it sounds like she really needs some professional mental health help. Perhaps try recording her calls, texts or threats (or whatever) and turn them in. Maybe someone will step in and get her some professional help or treatment with more proof?!...

Many well-wishes for your Dec. 6th procedure. I know it can be scary to think about being put under, but try your best to think of the positive outcomes and the benefits it can bring. And continue to pray on the situation to bring you through 🙏 ..... positive vibes your way~

That is great that you will be planning to see your family for Thanksgiving and cooking what sounds like LOTS of Great food! Enjoy it!

Hopefully things will fall into place, and you will be able to find employment again after dealing with your health issues. And I totally agree to the rest of the year and the holiday time running smoothly!

Thank you so much for checking in this week. And letting us know whats been going on for you. It was good to hear from you. Thanks for keeping us up to date on things.
