**This past week has pretty much flown by!~ Pretty much the same... was able to finally get completely back on track this week.. So this past week I've been totally on track with Food, Activity, and... (Even my sleep!!) I have been getting a FULL 8hours (according to my Fitbit) ~...so I have been really pleased with that~... I have been doing so much better with laying down earlier each night. And its obviously been working~

**The weather has still been really hot here, (still in the 90s F)... And even with the Local outdoor pool closed, I've been staying so busy that I haven't really even noticed much... But,... unfortunately, I think my knee has. My knee was doing amazing over the summer the more I swam, but I've been feeling some "tweaks" in it again~ So will have to continue to monitor that. Still keeping up with morning walks several days a week, as well as teaching my classes throughout the week.~ I'm sad to see Summer end, but usually by the time each season is ready to "transition" I tend to get easily onboard with it....Prayerfully it will continue to remain Warm through October as it usually does here~ and I can still get morning walks in with my mom. I like walking in warmer weather so that I can "sweat" first thing~..... We are already making plans to get the trees in our Back yard cut down so we can prayerfully re-open the pool next Summer~

**A situation that had brought me some minor stressors over the past few weeks is finally on track as of this past week and finally being taken care of. Prayerfully the entire situation will be resolved by the end of "next week".~

**Today (Saturday), there will be a picnic for a group me and my family are apart of and we plan to go to that..So I won't be attending any classes today, but my mom and I plan to meet very early beforehand to get in our 5 mile walk before we go.... As there will be plenty of food there. And I need to stay on track with activity to continue to keep up with my goals in this last quarter of this year~ But I'm certainly looking forward to going and relaxing afterwards~

ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND~yes

**Hey everyone~ How have you been doing this past week?

hello ocean! good to see you! am always looking forward to these check-ins!

This past week was....eventful. Monday was so stressful as i was at school for 10 hours and totally exhausted. On Tuesday i felt really really sick and had to cancel my plans to stay home. On wednesday i turned 17! Thursday and Friday werent really important, and today was not really good. I did lots of homework, that was good, but i started to have really hard physical pain out of nowhere tonight and that was kind of scary.

My eating habits didnt stay quite as i would have liked them to be: I did some intuitive eating which of course was great of my mind but not sooo good for my diet. I am still trying to find a right fitting balance between eating healthy but still having enough energy as i tend to have low to no energy when i eat healthy. But i gained some weight, finally!

This month i wanted to give my all into school and so far its going good. Its sometimes hard as my parents tend to criticize my work but i am learning to deal with their comments and just keep on studying, no matter what they say.

Summer ending! I am totally looking forward to cozy, autumn vibes heheh such as halloween (and i already listen to christmas songs again lol) but of course i am going to miss the good weather, although i really like the fall weather too!

Some ways to keep myself motivated...this is a good question. i am currently still figuring out how i can stay motivated but so far having a planner, setting goals for the day/week and doing to-do lists really helps me. Oh and also leaving some motivating quotes in my room so that i can read them throughout the day!

Struggles this week: lots of physical pain, huge fight with family.

Highlights: Birthday, had some really great time with friends, got my homework done.

My weekend plans are: relaxing tonight and studying tomorrow!

Hey Avery!

I'm so glad that you look forward to the check-ins and we love to hear from all of you!...

Wow, 10 hours of schooling makes for a very long day!... and Oh no!...Sorry to hear that you ended up not feeling well!

And WOW....A 17th Birthday! .HOW AWESOME IS THAT!... Happy Belated Birthday!..I hope that you had the chance to the enjoy that day to its fullest?!

Sorry to hear that your week ended up in pain!?! Yikes! What kind of pain was it?! Do you know what it was from or what caused it??
Its good that you did some "mindful" eating.... based on your intuiton and needs....And that you are still working on some balance for yourself as well as gaining back some of the weight that you wanted! Good for you!

How nice that you want to tend to your studies and schooling. Thats a good mindset. Its can be challenging when we feel that others are being critical of us, (as we can already tend to be critical of ourselves)... but its good that you are going to do your best to take it all in stride the best that you can. yes

I LOVE the idea that you have a "planner and to-do lists" to help keep you on track with your goals and to help motivate you! Thats awesome.And Motivation quotes are really great!... You really seem to be doing an awesome job for yourself at keeping up with things, and doing your best to keep on track even through challenging times and moments. You seem to have a really great "head on your shoulders' and theres no doubts that you will succeed and do very well in your life!

Sorry to hear of this past weeks struggles, but I do hope that you are over-coming them and continuing to focus on all the positives that you had as well!

ENJOY YOUR WEEKED PLANS! And thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things have been going for you!

Hey its Zuleika. Did you read my other Check In Post? You must be really busy so no worries if you didnt. i dont have much to write about but that I noticed today something about my body....when I sit down and have on some leggings there are two bulges of fat like right above my hips next to my booty.

Other than that I will have a great weekend!! Probably hang out with my girlfriend and go shopping with her.

@Zulegirl

Hey girl!..

So great to hear from you this week.. Yes, I did in fact get to read your last post as well as everyone else's... The only thing was I was away on my anniversary, so just didn't have the chance to respond like I usually get to since I wasn't on my laptop~ But... I ALWAYS read everyone's post each week and try to apologize the following week if there is ever a week that goes by that I'm unable to respond... Just know that I always read them and apreciate the time you all take in telling me about your week, your journey and your lives!

So.... I was reading this current post and I noticed that you mentioned about "fatty pockets" above your hips... hmmm.... I think I do know what you may be talking about (if I am envisioning this correctly in my mind)....So let me ask you, is this something that is a positive or a negative for you right now?.... As I do recall that you were trying to "gain" weight for your personal appearance satisfaction, so I don't want to "assume" how you are feeling about what you've noticed.

I'm glad to see you! And thank you for checking in this week, keeping us up to date on how you are doing and how things are going for you!

Hey love!! Hope your anniversary was amazing!! So you have experience with being pear shaped and having those fat bulges? It is not negative its more of that I am trying to get used to them. I have not had them there before. I guess it comes when you want to get thicker

@Zulegirl

Hey there! Thank you so much for the Kind words!! heart...

Yeah its really strange.....I'm not even sure what my body shape is, its almost like it fluctuates?! lol.. I guess it depends on how I am carrying my weight at the time..

The fatty pockets on the hips, (depending on if they are lower or higher) I've seen them lower (bottom portion of hip/upper thigh area) which tends to come with "genetics" I think and see that more in "pear" shapes (some people tend to refer to them "saddle-bags" ),....

When I see those with more on the upper hips/buttocks area, it tends to be more with weight gain~....

@PoliteOcean

Yeah you sound like me because my body shape changes as well. And the fat bulges are on the upper hip booty area so yeah probably are from weight gain. But I love myself either way!!

What do you wear to show off your curves?

User Profile: Zulegirl
Zulegirl September 16th, 2019

@PoliteOcean

I think I also have both on me because they come with my gentics and just the way my body is. Depending on what kind of jeans I have on you can see them more clearly or not. But I have always had the lower ones not as much the higher ones!

Love ya girl

@Zulegirl

Club/Country , Line Dancing! SOOO Much fun! lol... I haven't ever really line-dance as we dont' have alot of that where I'm currently living, but.. I could watch people on TV do that for hours! lolol...

And bootcut jeans!!..Omg.. I have a CLOSET full of those things! lolol... They used to be my favorites (way back before the whole Legging/Jegging/Skinny Jean became a "thing") lol... I LOVED my bootcuts! So I don't blame you there!

Problem ares, well, to be honest, I guess my bottom half is where weight likes to go when I have gained it, but when you get older as well,you have to stay on top of any "sagging" too frownlol.... so I try my best to get some "toning/weights" in each week~

Another busy week. Time is sure going fast. Can not believe I am in September. Next summer seems a long time off. Would like to start summer again as I am still in a good routine with exercise. Still goal setting to stay on track. Have to watch my eating more closely as I seem to be letting my guard down. I guess the change of season is coming and I miss summer so my eating habits have picked up. Just need to get on track going forward. Enjoy your weekend.

@sail46

Hey there Sail!~

Yes, I agree.. its just going so fast! I can't believe it either~ Its sad to see summer come and go so quickly (especially if you are a summer-lover of course wink) ...... Its crazy to think that we will be in a whole new month "again" in a few weeks~ Next summer does seem like its far off, as for me, it seems like Winter tends to be the "slowest" season? Do you feel the same way too?..

I am so glad to hear that you are still goal setting for yourself to stay on track the best that you can! I know this time of year seems to be the most "challenging'! What do you find that you are struggling with the most right now? Are you still swimming currently?

Getting to know you like I have these past few years, I do know that we have some similar habits, as well as goals~ And its good that while you might be having some challenges, I'm sure that you also know what to do to continue moving forward in your goals for yourself, as well as what to do to continue to keep staying on track or get back on track. I know that you have ALOT of healthy habits that you've developed for yourself. So I know you can do it!

Thanks so much for checking in this week, continuing to stay accountable in your posts, and for letting us know how things have been going and moving along for you! Always enjoy seeing you each week!

**Hey everyone~ How have you been doing this past week? I'm ok. . . I keep distracting myself, so I need to find focus so I can get some work done this week.

**We are in the 2nd week of (as well as half way through!) September already~.... How have things been going for you so far this month?I wish this month would go faster. It's just that it's the middle and bills made everything really tight.

**What goals did you set for yourself this month or are you working on? How are they coming along for you? My writing goals have been slower than I wanted, but I am trying to pull it together and focus,

** Many of us are a little more than "One" week away from Summer Ending~ How do you plan to spend or enjoy these next week ahead? How do you feel about the season ending? What will you miss? What are you looking forward to in the new season ahead?I miss the walking without a coat, but I look foward to the colorful leaves, horror movies, and hot cocoa and hot tea and everything pumpkin.

**Just For Fun...... What are some ways that you Keep yourself motivated each day or each week? Music, sometimes I even turn off the wifi so I can focus, I also make a to-do list

**What have been your "Highlights" Or "Struggles" over this past week? What are your weekend Plans?! Write, cook, go for a walk.

@Rebekahwriter13

Hey there~

I totally understand about being distracted... as well as it being that "middle" of the month thing, and having to get those bills paid. Money can surely become tight. It can get rather challenging for sure~ How are you doing with job searching? Is that something that you are still considering?

I TOTALLY get what you are saying in regards to missing the summer~ ... While I do love the summer months for many reasons... I do love the fall as well when it does arrive ( I love ALL the same things you do about it!) MMM... Pumpkin is so awesome heart... ... Also,... What is one of your favorite Horror Movies!!??

Music and To-do lists are BOTH great ideas!

I really dislike when people are just plain rude for no reason~... I don't blame you for not wanting to spend your money in a place that you were treated poorly!..... I wouldn't spend my money in an establishment like that either. Sorry to hear that happened~ frown

Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going for you... Seems like things are holding steady for you at the moment~ yes

@PoliteOcean

How are you doing with job searching? Is that something that you are still considering? A friend of mine is helping me with a phone, I am waiting on a SIM card. Once I get my phone, I plan to see some doctors, and if I am doing well based on the check up, then I will search for a job.

What is one of your favorite Horror Movies!!?? The Shining, Interview with a Vampire and The Crow.

I always have a to-do list.

I got a letter back from the owner of the place and he was just as rude trying to compare himself to McDonald. However if he was in business 40 years, then you think he would do better business. It's frustrating because it's one of the place I walk to. Now I feel I have to avoid it.

@Rebekahwriter13

Oh thats great that you have a friend willing to try to help you with your phone.. And yes I would have to agree, that its surely best to wait until after you are able to get seen and cleared to handle working conditions.. I know if you would to start working before you are emotionally/mentally ready, then that could set you back as well, or perhaps even progress you might've already made on your own. So I totally understand and get that!

And how sad that you now feel you have to "avoid" a place that you enjoyed going to .... I hate that..But I totally understand how uncomfortable it could be going back there when you don't feel respected or welcomed on top of being treated poorly. I do hope that you have other places that you like to frequent that are close by that you could put your time and energy into instead!

The fatigue is quite strong still, not sure how to shake this. I did get out for one thing each W-F, although on Thursday it was just to get dinner but it still took more effort than delivery.

I got out into the gardn a bit today. Pulled whatever looked edible for my cucumbers. I only got 1 of a new variety I wanted to try, they are globular in shape. Certainly was far from full size, but tasted good the bit I could get, it will get a 2nd chance next year as this year wasn't a fair trial at all.

I'm registered for a class - showing off the indoor location for the group. I am really hoping I can go without pushing myself too much.

@AffyAvo

Hey Affy!

Great to hear from you~

Sorry to hear that you are still dealing with the fatigue....I'm sure that is quite a challenging feeling to continue dealing with~

Its great that despite that, that you managed to be able to get out and about, and I totally agree that even just going out to get dinner beats sitting at home waiting on delivery!... Sometimes its just about being able to step outside and into that fresh air... The fact that we were able to "muster -up" the energy to do it during times when we aren't feeling well or our best.

Its so good for you that you were able to get out and tend to your garden a bit as well....I'm sure getting some of that done helped you to feel accomplished~

How awesome that you got registered for your class!!.... What type of class will it be? So this is the same group you were telling me about that was looking for the "indoor" location?!... Thats great. Don't beat yourself up or be too hard on your on yourself, perhaps just consider easing into it all, and seeing what the first day or few days brings... and taking it from there based on how you feel~ You know what to do for yourself and how to take care of yourself though, so I'm sure I dont have to tell you that~

Thanks so much for checking in this week and letting us know how things are going... Please keep us updated on how you continue to do and how the class situation goes!

@PoliteOcean I really don't know what to expect from this class, it's a one time thing to check out the new location - the indoor schedule doesn't start until Oct I think.

I think this one is going to be fairly laid back with kids involved. So should be easy enough to just step off to the side and laugh with the kids or something if I need to.
