🌞 This past week was well for the most part... A little busy & tiring, but pushed through.... I felt that this weekend could not have gotten here fast enough~... But I kept on track & pushing through in the goals that I set for March.... I started off last weekend with my Zumba class on Saturday... Then Sunday the instructor was out, so no class for that day... But I did manage to put together my own "home-workout" routine & still got it in for the day..... The weekend consisted of a good mix of Relaxation time, out & about with a Nice drive, Shopping time, (& even treating myself to foods that I enjoy in moderation)... I also managed to squeeze in some continued "Spring cleaning", & switched over to my Spring decor.... As It just felt really good to shed all the Winter vibes~

🌷 As the week started, I was just glad to know that Springtime was coming this week,... The weather remained nice & milder, And I was able to get in plenty of varied outdoor time with the Furbaby in the afternoons~.... I also got back on track & continued on with (Work, Group Fitness/Workouts/activity, Meal-planning/tracking,... Sleep was well, hydration goals could still use some improvement... I also had TWO appointments to "Squeeze" in as well... One of them being a regular "Dental cleaning" appointment... I don't why, but since the pandemic, (maybe even before that), my feelings about going to the Dentist have gone down-hill... Its a mental ordeal~... But I "Know" its something that we need to do for a Plethora of Health reasons, but Its been challenging to get into a good headspace about going. Needless to say that I DO go, & just very Happy that its now over with for awhile!~

🌼 As this weekend starts, Intentions are of course to get in that early Saturday Zumba class to start the day, & then get out & about afterwards to enjoy the day & milder weather we are having~.... As well, get some errands done, & possibly check-out a few Nutrition spots that are having some good sales so that I can try to stock-up!.... There are also a few Festivals, Events & Wellness Fairs... So maybe try to squeeze one of those in too?... Looking forwards to getting through the last week of the month, continuing in my goals, & if the weather holds up for next weekend, a possible getaway to the Beach to "recharge & reset" mentally~

🌞Hey EveryoneWelcome to the Weekend And Happy "Spring"!~.... How are you doing?.. And what is something that has gone "Well" for you so far today?!  I am doing well today, thank you for asking.....this week we had a state audit at the facility....always a stressful thing, for me at least..... I spent 3 days with the auditors.....it went very well.....they usually do and I shouldn't stress the way I do about them.....but the one time I don't stress and prep is the time we won't do so well.....

🌼 As We get ready to enter the Last full week of March, How do you feel that your progress has gone for you so far in your personal goals & endeavors for this Month?!.... What was a challenging experience this month that you feel the Most proud of in yourself for pushing through?!  I first want to apologize for missing last week's questions.  Even though I've been in my new position for almost 5 or 6 weeks now, I am having a hard time adjusting to my new work hours pertaining to after work time management and getting in all the things I want/need to do.  After working 0430 am to 1230pm for 6 years, I'm used to having all afternoon on to get things done before dinner.  Now that I'm working 7 to 3, getting home around 3:30, its already 4 by the time I change, wind down and can get going on whatever needs to be done....because I used to wake at 3am, I am in the habit of eating dinner early, and not doing anything after dinner because I would be in bed so early....I'm finding it hard to adjust to changing that because of routine....I will overcome this, I just don't have any idea of what kind of routine to get into....my girlfriend says I should skip an after work "routine" and just go with it but I'm not sure I can do that....

🌞JUST FOR FUN:.. Now that we have entered SPRING, WHAT is your MOST favorite Springtime Activity?! Sitting on the porch in the sun every change I get......

🌷What were your "Highlights Or Struggles" of the week?.... How were you able to work through your challenges in a Healthy Way?! See answers above.....

🌼What is something that "YOU" want to Talk about, Add or Share with us this week?... WE want to hear from YOU~  I'm about halfway done with my NASM CSN Coach class.  I"m hoping I can get a good portion of it completed, if not finish it, this week because I will be away at training for work all week, meaning I'll be in a hotel room by myself everyday after work....(this training also doesn't help with building an after work routine, but I'll get there eventually)...I'm hoping I can get a lot of the class done if there isn't much "studying or homework" associated with this training I will be attending.....

Have a great week folks.....

@CyclingThroughLife

Hey there Cycling~ It’s good that you are doing well this weekend... And that a stressful audit had Also gone well~ At least the worry is now off, over, and the load has been lifted!

Im so glad that despite missing out on last weeks check-in that you were able to join us this week to share! … Life happens for sure, So no apologies necessary!… As far as your new change in job hours/shift, I can understand what you are saying… (after about 15 years of working fulltime “nightshift” as a nurse from 11p-7a & then 7p-7a as well, I had changed to a full time dayshift position at a new job, 7a-4pm)…. It was definitely a “transition” and I honestly wasn’t sure how to adjust?… But, To be honest, I don’t really think (or feel) that there are many things you can necessarily do there, I think it’s just something you “learn” to adjust to & adapt to?! … One day you just wake up and realize that things just finally start to “flow together”?! And it’s then you will look back and even start to wonder HOW you were ever able to even work the former shift that you once did?! lol.., But it’s definitely a newer situation for you, and it will continue to take a little time to “find your flow” but you WILL get there no doubt!

Ahhh… yes! Sitting on the porch (especially in the earlier morning when it’s quiet, or in the later afternoons/early evening) is my Jam in the Spring time! And Especially with something good to drink~ A great way to relax~ Great choice of “activity” for Spring!

Oh wow… you are really moving along there in getting your Coaching Cert done! It Sounds like you are doing a great job there. Please continue to keep us updated on that status and in how everything is continuing to come along and progress for you. And again, it was great to hear from you this week. Thanks for sharing your week with us! And Enjoy your week~

@PoliteOcean Here's how the past week went. I'm by myself in Stuarts old bedroom with my own TV and it's great. CJ is in my old bedroom by himself and he is very quiet and doesn't stink up the bathroom or living room with his fece smell. Stuart is in the living room 24/7 in a bed.  Going back a week ago, I watched NASCAR on Saturday and put a non-medicated pain patch on my shoulder. Sunday I shaved and my Red Panax Korean Ginseng arrived. Tuesday I went to the library. I'm reading "Washington Square" by Henry James. I went to a new massage business and they couldn't understand English. I left before the massage started. I left a negative review on Yelp but it was deleted. Thursday I went to my dermatologist. I have a huge red-purple rash on the inside of my thighs. My doctor said it was a classic fungus, which I thought it was anyways. He prescribed a topical medication but I have to put it on twice a day. It's one more ordeal I don't need. I watched a documentary about a father who was completely screwed over by the foster care system. It's very upsetting. I don't know why so many adults thinks it's okay to abuse children.  Friday I got a massage for my legs. My legs are very tense and they need a lot of work. Friday night Grace stayed up until midnight. It's very upsetting seeing a little girl abused in my household and I can't do anything about it. For this upcoming week I have a therapy appointment with Jim and hopefully a chiropractic adjustment on Thursday and an appointment with my medical doctor on Friday. That means two weeks in a row with no walks and no reading.

@Regmo

Hey Regmo~ Sounds like with the changes that everyone’s sleeping arrangements have been solved for now…. It also sounds like last weekend was productive for you… It’s good you were able to get out to the library… Its also Interesting that the massage place you went to had absolutely no English speaking workers in their establishment.. Typically “someone” can speak a little English even if it sounds a little broken? Otherwise that would be very difficult to run a business when that’s mostly what the population speaks.. However it appears that you were able to find someone else to be able to get your leg massage in on Friday~ (I still haven’t made the time yet for mine)~ … It also Sounds like you got your dermatology issue sorted out and was able to at least receive something from the provider that should help…. As far as adults abusing children, it’s definitely an issue that has become worse all over. Or perhaps it’s just something we hear more about now and more light is being shed on the situation. But either way It’s definitely an issue that needs resolved!… It seems like you have another busy week ahead with your upcoming appts… Hopefully the therapy is helping and you are learning new or more life coping skills. Keep us updated on how that’s going and thanks for checking in to share your week.
