New to The Hobby Zone Community in June 2021? Whats your favorite Hobby?

One of my my favorite hobbies is to hula hoop! I love that it gets me outside in the sun and gets my body moving. I love expressing myself through dance and movement with the hoop while listening to music. I’m hoping it will help me connect to wanting to make music again.

@Power My favorite hobby of late is nature journaling my garden: the plants, the animals, birds, etc. I like it because it is a pathway to mindfulness, allows me to be a scientist and connects me to the land I walk upon. I have done art journaling for 11 years and nature journaling for the past two years.

My favorite hobbies are writing, drawing, watching anime/reading manga and playing games from time to time. I find it yo be fun and something productive to do. A pretty long time so far I've just been slacking.

Hello! I like learning languages, traveling, watching movies, anime, games, and music. I like the challenge of learning new languages and I like traveling because I can use the languages I've studied. I started learning Mandarin in high school and since then I've studied many other languages. My latest endeavors inude Japanese and Korean. I like listening to music and playing musical instruments, which I have been doing since I was in middle school. I play guitar, mandolin, violin, and ukulele.

Reading can help me to relax and stay calm. I usually find new books and buy them online since it's safer. Have recently ordered a book called "A mirror above the abyss" by Oleg Lurye https://www.amazon.com/dp/B094NMRWPJ, can't wait to receive it.

I am new to crafting and have joined a subscription craft-a-month box. I've found I enjoy weaving, glass etching, and anything where I get to build and paint with wood. Also, I never understood what people said about crafting relaxing them until I discovered diamond painting.

My favorite hobbies are special FX makeup, gaming, anime and manga, cosplay. I've been cosplaying for like 6 years now. And gaming for a year and a half.

@Power (: hiya! i’d say my favourite hobbies are : playing piano (it’s my favourite instrument, and i’ve been playing for around 7 years), reading (books are just absolutely amazing, and i’ve always been an avid reader) and listening to music (music and especially certain music artists help me a lot through things, and i’ve been listening to music more over the last year or two!) -S x
