Cool info. My mom is a HUGE potato lover, so when I was growing up almost all our meals included some form of potato. Baked, boiled, mashed, fried, added to stews or soups, scalloped, roasted...
I'm still a potato fan, but these days they're less of a staple. My favorite potato applications are forms where you get a crisp skin on the outside and hot fluffiness on the inside. I am, accordingly, very picky about french fries.
I
all kinds and forms of potatoes, too!
Has anyone tried Japanese Sweet Potatoes? They are soooo yummy and totally different from the orange sweet potato that you're familiar with!
I love this potato thread! Makes me smile
I adore potatoes. Fries, baked, sweet, chips...they taste so good.
@vivelespatates boi don't get me wrong i love potatoes but are you sure about things like the iron, vit c and potassium?? i thought when things are baked to high temperatures, a lot of good things especially vitamins get killed. surely like fresh spinach and peaches should be a lot higher in vits and mins than a potato :P
@vivelespatates i hate to be a killjoy but also we always tend to cover our lovely baked potatoes in things like coleslaw, cheese, butter,, full of fat lollll, does anyone know any good toppings for baked potatos bc beans and cheese is 2 good
