First time sketching
Hi, so yesterday I visited a castle and today I decided to try and sketch it for the first time, the pencils were bad so I couldn't do much, but I hope someone likes it

@raspberryStrings5071 I know it's always so quick to like, worry about what our approval is of your work, but you really don't need that. I feel like a lot of times you got to reflect on the process over the product and ask yourself did you enjoy making it? And that's a valid reason to keep making art. Do you usually like it this medium? Does this medium make you happy to use?

At first it was kinda frustrating that I couldn't make it exactly how I wanted, since I don't have much experience with pencils. Then it became the thing that gives me more freedom to be imperfect, to make mistakes, to make something quick and ordinary without deep meaning. So yeah, I'm enjoying it more now. And I think I'm making progress, which was my primary goal.
