I have no hobbies :(

What's a low barrier of entry hobby that won't cause me to break down crying because I can't do it right?

@Moonmi2000

are you thinking of a creative hobby? in other words, are you wanting a hobby that you create something of or are you open to hobbies that you just do (e.x. hiking)?

i recommend photography if it's doable for you. it's a skill you build but it's in my opinion also very subjective. you can just enjoy the process of taking pictures

Anything really, preferably something that has no "skill level". Something I can enjoy so I don't self harm from falling short of expectations.

But yes, I've had a passing interest in photography before, it's just been difficult to stick with it.

@Moonmi2000 hi! I have similar feelings to you. If you’re looking for something more creative you could try diamond painting! It is like a paint by numbers but the canvas is sticky and you place diamonds in correlating squares creating a nice picture. You could also try a physical hobby like hiking.

@Moonmi2000

i find getting outside, into Nature, is a great, cheap, no-fault hobby. Listening to birds, looking at trees, etc., feeling the air on your face, feeling the ground under your feet.  And there is no right or wrong to getting out in Nature. And there is no right or wrong way to do Nature. And if you cry, that's ok. Mother Nature accepts our tears., scars and all.

And maybe getting outside could lead you to birding! You could download an app to identify birds you hear, or any other interesting things you find.

Hii. Listening to songs can be one

Absolutely, listening to music, chatting, or even doing something just related to being creative, there's nothing wrong when you're being creative.

@Moonmi2000.  Try acts of Service. Volunteer with an animal shelter, seniors center, or any non profit group. Offer to help clean up. Then follow through.

@Moonmi2000 Trying candies out. Seriously no one can get that wrong. Just buy every untried candy you can think of, and slowly try them until you become an expert in all candies on earth. Not many can say they've done that in their lives.

Crocheting. A single crochet is super easy and could be learned quickly with a YouTube tutorial. You can make scarves and even a whole blanket with just a single crochet if you're dedicated enough.

@Moonmi2000 I've sort of been in the same boat. Maybe start a collection. I started with quarters years ago and I'll get a nice little blast of dopamine every once in a while when I find a new one.

Gardening! Some flowers and plants are really easy to look after! Maybe even make a terrarium! You can do some research on what grows well for your specific climate/country :)

Sending you love and light 💫
