Need Hobby Recommendations, Please!
So now I have more storage space in my room, thanks to our furniture overhaul <3 So, I have more room for hobby stuff! :D
I already have space for my drawing and journaling supplies, and my books.
I’m looking for new hobby ideas, that can fit into a small space, and aren’t messy or too complicated. Things that are unobtrusive.
For example, I was thinking about getting my (never-used) origami supplies out of storage.
Also, I’m not into fabric/yarn hobbies. Painting is too messy.
What ideas do you guys have? Thank you in advance! <3
@jesusredeemedme2425
You are into origami, I use to do some, you've inspired me to give it another go 🥰
I’ve never really done it, just the dollar bill origami. Which is really cool once it’s done <3
I’m glad I inspired you! <3

I love origami. I used to do some, but I always had to follow tutorials. I really liked making magic balls, and other things that you could transform in some way, or build with.
I haven't seen much dollar bill origami, but from what I have seen it is very cool.
@jesusredeemedme2425 try felt wool
@hopefulencounter
The pandas adorable 😁💜
@Amanda84 I agree they're so adorable! ☺️
Diamond art or Diamond painting, goes by either name. Seems to be very popular these days.
Umm a game console? Regular puzzles or 3D ones, birdwatching? Personalising things, I forget the name lol :D Just think about what you enjoy and hope you find some good ones to develop.

Ukelele!
@jesusredeemedme2425 dress up like a Victorian ghost with a huge hat and sip tea while looking out dramatically through the window. Look out, but don't look directly at anyone who passed by or looks at you. Let out a deafening scream once you are done with your session, and disappear from the window in a second. 😁
Bahahaha have you done this???? Lol
@jesusredeemedme2425 maybe 👀
Do tell ;)
@jesusredeemedme2425 sadly not lol since I live in an appartment with not a lot of view from the street up lol. But I would totally be doing it if I had a chance 😂😂😂
Also the scream might get people concerned lol
@jesusredeemedme2425 I mean, you are a ghost. And ghosts do scream lol. Imagine disappearing to an ice cream truck jingle 😒
I mean… I enjoy that mental image ;)
@jesusredeemedme2425 maybe you can create your unique ghost lore 😁
This is hilarious
@sadcat13
YESSSS!!! I am sold on this idea! *quickly starts searching for Victorian garb*
Jewelry making
Junk journaling
Do you like to sew? I’ve seen some super cute sock monkeys made
I can’t sew to save my life XD
@jesusredeemedme2425

If it's not too messy, you should try experimenting with some air-dry clay! It's a great and easy way to immerse yourself in pottery, and I find it very therapeutic! You can even make some cute little magnets for your fridge :)
Another idea could be scrapbooking! I tend to collect trinkets like movie tickets and old photo booth prints, so I ended up getting a book where I can paste different memories as scrapbook pages. I plan on keeping the finished scrapbook on my coffee table for guests to view when they come over! It's a lot of work, but very rewarding.
