Intercultural connectedness is a hard topic for people from East. I am from east and since childhood i found myself interested in meeting people of different culture, although it was frown upon by people around me.

Now that the basic is cleared, from a psychological perspective in order to have the willingness one must be open to being authentic, communicate without judgement, moreover to have the mindset to connect with other culture including aboriginals.

Lastly, the kind of habit which aligns with ourselves for growth, learning and acknowledge the various sides of humanity.

Thank you for reading the thread, please reply so we can have a fun and honest conversation :)

I'm appreciative of you reaching out to other cultures trying to understand the whole world not just your country.

I'm proud of you for trying to understand the big picture,  not just what happens in your own backyard..🌟

@Simplelife432 Thank you for sharing your insights. I love how inquisitive you are in seeking knowledge from individuals of other cultures despite what you had to face growing up.

I agree that growing, learning and acknowledging each other from different perspectives is rewarding and helps us connect with each other in a broader way.

Furthermore, the intercultural topic may be difficult for many people, especially, when they are not exposed to the idea of different perspectives/cultures.
