Am I Graysexual? I

I feel sexual attraction to people and fantasize about sex, but I don't have that much desire to have sex. Could I be greysexual or asexual?

I define myself as bisexual (boy) but sometimes I don't feel like that so it confuses me everyday when I think of that. Also sometimes I feel like I'll never find someone or I'll never be able to love someone because I don't know if I'll always feel love towards someone. I've been hurt so in some way I've lost interest of falling in love away, but the way I feel goes beyond it.

If you do experience sexual attraction, I wouldn't say you're asexual. Maybe you are simply bisexual with a lower sex drive, which is possible, it's different for everyone. But of course, you are free to identify as you prefer. As for the fear of not being able to love - which can also affect your desire to have sex, particularly is sex and feeling are deeply connected for you - I know it's hard to see it now, but tou will learn to live with the pain of the past. Just take care of yourself for now, give yourself time to heal. When the moment will come, your heart will open if the person is the right one. And if you still have some boundaries and worries, you can learn to deal with them together, and find your balance and happiness.

@Blondie89 Being asexual doesn't mean you can't be romantically interested in people so you can be biromantic and asexual. Asexuality means you are not attracted to people sexually that does not mean you can not want to have sex. There are also different sexualities under the asexual umbrella such as my own sexuality which is demisexual which means I only experience sexual attraction if I have an emotional bond with someone. Something that helped me a lot was doing research about different sexualities which helped me know more about different sexualities and I found a name for my sexuality. I wish you luck in figuring all of this out. heart

how you realised you were demisexual? If it's about boys, I start feeling physical attraction but it's hard for me to develop emotions towards them, I don't know why, I think I can, but I never felt it before. If it's about girls (opposite gender) I start developing emotions towards them, after that, physical attraction comes. Tbh, sometimes I feel like I only desire boys, that my feeling can be stronger in girls, but I also see myself with boys. Sometimes I think if I'm really bisexual or if I'm straight or gay, this is so confusing. About the asexuality umbrella, I think I have sexual desire, but I won't probably feel sexual attraction towards boys or girls. So that's why I would say that I'm probably demi. I'm not interested in sex tbh, maybe I'd like to have one day, but I think I'd feel uncomfortable. My mind is gonna explode, yo, that's why I thought that I may be Graysexual, but I was talking about days I have no sexual desire, because I don't feel sexual attraction to anyone but desire 🤯🤯🤯

I found out that I am demisexual through doing some research about it and what people who are demisexual say which I really related to. Even if you are bi it's okay to have a slight preference on one or the other and even with that I get confused too so it's okay. You don't figure these kinds of things overnight and that's okay all of us get confused which I would say is pretty normal. Remember that you are still valid even if you don't know and that it's okay not to know. I wish you luck in figuring it all out because it's not always easy.
