Just a little confused

Hello! Recently I'm not really sure if this is where my question belongs but I feel like its associated to asexuality. I have no desire to have sex with a guy. The thought of it makes me really uncomfortable and kind of makes me feel sick. I thought it might be because I'm nervous about doing it for the first time but after asking people if the thought makes them feel the same way it feels it feels for me they all said that they have never thought that way about it. With girls I feel a lot more comfortable thinking about it and would probably be much more open to doing it. I know I'm bisexual and romantically attracted to guys, but I'm not sure if there's a term for my feelings or if there are other people who feel that way.

Hello @cherry7027

It sounds like you could be bisexual heteroromantic. This means that while you are attracted to both men and women, you are only sexually attracted to women. This is perfectly valid! I actually feel the same way and I'm pretty sure this is my label as well :) That being said, don't rush yourself to find a label. After all, you have your whole life to figure this out!

Thanks for reaching out, let me know if you want to chat one-on-one <3

If guys are not sexually attractive for you but girls are, if the thought of sex makes you uncomfortable with a guy but comfortable with a girl, it sounds like you're a lesbian in terms on sexual orientation! And your romantic orientation doesn't have to coincide with the sexual: one can be attracted to more genders (biromantic), to one (hetero/homoromantic)...

You can determine what your labels are in the two orientations according to which genders you find attractive, and in which way!

@cherry7027 Hey I'm going through something similar, so you're not alone or some kind of weirdo! It's all okay!

And yes, your sexual orientation doesn't always have to match with your romantic orientation. Maybe you like girls both, romantically and sexually, and guys just romantically which could make you "Biromantic homosexual" or "heteroromantic and a lesbian" .

And it's not necessary to label yourself, it's totally your choice! Hope that helps!
