After 57 years of hiding who I am, I have this need to be seen now and don't understand why.

It can be hard to understand why all.of a sudden.

You might have pushed it down for so long , you can't anymore.

Whatever you decide , just know , you are perfect as you are, just being you 💛

I am a teen, so I cant really grasp what 57 years of hiding would feel like, but I know what its like to want to shout it from the rooftops after figuring yourself out!! 

I hope all goes well for you and you continue to be proud of yourself :)

@determinedCar6396 hiding for so long means years of yearning for freedom and expressions, bottling up feelings and desires, and it's only natural to reach a point where you can't just keep it to yourself anymore.
Whatever your situation is, I hope you can find a space to express yourself. Maybe you can start online, but it would also be great to have people in your life you can talk to about this, a safe space, maybe a connection to the queer community in your area. You can start by opening up to a trusted and open-minded person close to you, and see where it leads. Safety first, of course, but if you find a chance to express yourself safely and freely, dont deny yourself that opportunity. You deserve it.

I am with you and not too far by years in the body. For me, I was just released from a toxic torrent I was drowning In for past decade and a half. So i guess it's natural to go resume from there... Did you have a similar exploration ongoing and then life took over?
