Daily Mindfulness Check-In August 25, 2021
It's still morning and the sun is gentle. It is so good to feel the sunshine on my skin, I could smell the flowers of my gooseberry plant and hear the birds chirping. It makes me want to enjoy this day to the fullest.

The weather today was mostly warm and humid. I ended up sleeping in the afternoon and waking up at with a bit of sweat at night.
When I opened the window, the night breeze pushed the hot air out. It feels comfortable, just wnough breeze and home air.

Right now where I live it is hot and high humidity so I can relate well. I find it's nicer to have the room naturally cooled down with the night breeze than using aircon.

Thanks for this wonderful post Peace. Mornings are fresh for sure and I do go for cycling in the morning so I know how it feels. It's so calm and fresh.
The weather here is kinda humid which I don't like xD. It's evening but the sky is pretty in this time. Because there is sunset and there is colourful sky and birds going back to their nests. I will go for evening walk soon 💖

Hello Ami and thank you for this check-in. Today was a hot one. But I get up so early and leave out when it's cool in the morning. As I am driving I say my prayers and drink my coffee. My window is a bit down and the breeze is nice. I smell the air - it's the smells of lawn and rain.
During the day we do not have windows open as the AC is on. We do open them up around 8-9pm as it's cooler. When I open the windows I get goose bumps lol as the breeze is cooler. It's nice. I love when it's cool and I can smell nature.

Good that you can get up so early. I find it's easier to slowly acclimatise to the heat than waking up late and getting into the full heat. I love the smell of lawn and rain too, it feels so refreshing.
