Daily Mindfulness Check-In August 25, 2021
It's still morning and the sun is gentle. It is so good to feel the sunshine on my skin, I could smell the flowers of my gooseberry plant and hear the birds chirping. It makes me want to enjoy this day to the fullest.

How is the weather today where you live? How does it feel when you go outside or open a window, what kind of sensations do you notice?
- It's sunny, low humidity with a subtle breeze. My home has a cool chill after over night air conditioning but I let the outside breeze in from the windows. It feels like a natural cup of coffee for me to have a few moments at the start of the day inhaling some fresh air. The singing birds in my backyard always remind me to "pay nature a visit" by spending atleast 10-15 minutes getting fresh air outside.

It is raining and it is beautiful! After so many hot days it is such a relief. There isn't quite that post-rain freshness in the air yet but it is getting better!

The weather here is sunny and a bit humid. I don't think it's going to get too hot, but we'll see! I'm not the biggest fan of really hot weather, but I'm lucky to have good air conditioning in the house, at least ^^

Hello Peace,
On this side of the world, it's still hot. But the late evenings are quite pleasant with a lovely breeze, which I thoroughly enjoy sitting outside.
It's ME time and I listen to music, do my breathing exercises, yoga, and relaxed walks. It's sheer bliss and the high point of my entire day.
Thanks for this thread , it was such a pleasure to share and read what others had shared.

I open the window to let the morning sunshine into the room. I can hear the cuckoo calling... its a bird that is heard easily ..but, is difficult to spot. Rarely, I will see the black bird with red eyes.. staring at me.. eating fruits off the trees .. they wait for me to look away for a moment and then find a hiding spot where I cannot see them.. there are times when I see the brown feathered cuckoo with its white spots .. camouflaged in the tree..calling ..and when I'm in the room doing other things I can still hear them calling..I know that they are there.

Sometimes, I manage to spot one...staring at me with its red eyes or eating fruits... its feathers black and shiny.. they wait for me to look away for a moment .. and then fly to the other side of the tree..where I cannot see them.. twice, I have spotted the brown birds with white spots.. they seem to be even more elusive.. as I sit in the room, look at my laptop, do my morning meditation, I can hear them calling.. and I know they are there.
