@lovelyWords13 Meditation is such a powerful tool! Have you ever tried the InsightTimer App? There's lots of free guided meditations on there, and you can even track your meditations. It's one of my favourite resources for my meditation practice!

@amiablePeace77 alright Ive thought on this.

enlightenedWhat are you curious about and have you or have made plans to explore it? If not, why?

I am curious as to why the people in the world has to divide/be seperate you know. Like one is better then the other or vice versa. It is very sad I feel. My plans to explore are going to be very slow and patience with kindness and understanding. Listening to certain folks that have a background not to well and how the got to where they are now. To see how they coped on the seperation and stuff.

I'm really getting into cross-stitching right now. And it's making me curious about other types of sewing. I just bought my first cross-stitch kit and I'm learning a lot as I go.

@witchrose

HI Rose nice to see you again! OMG I can go on and on-on this topic-but I will refrain. lol. Cross-Stitching is a great hobby to take as it has you totally being in the moment and concentrating on what you need to do. Can I suggest looking up on Google to find some really great starter cross stitching projects. I do wish you luck on finding many things to do on this hobby. Thank you for sharing with usheart(also my pm are open to chat more on this if you like)

What am I curious about and want to explore...

THIS same at the most perfect time! I got bad news at the dr ( that I think I might be thinking is worse tha it is ...idk, but i digress) . And in this one instant of a precious awake moment, i fully felt in the present moment. And everything was clearer, colors were more defined, things seemed lighter and playful and i looked atround and realized:

i have been cocooning myself away from the true present moment and life itself but writing this ( for me) trivial to do list every day, thinking of the negative, creating limits for myself. but most importantly, not fully living and Exploring that which makes me curious, happy, blissful....

so, in keeping with this perfect timing and my revelation, here are some things i am curoous about AND will follow through in finding my bliss through exprieincing more of :

i am curious about the present moment more - i want to dip Into That more often through, reading, music, meditation and perception

i am curious about living my authentic life and authentic self and i am going to stay more centered in myself and stop caring how and if people are judging me . I have done that worry and silence myself thing my whole life - i dont choose it anymore.

i am curious about language - i am going to take an intro to Chinese on Coursera online free class.

I am curious about the power of the limits i set for myself and i am going to re-write my story by re-writing or erasing my self impossed limits.

and on a little less deep level: I am also curious about

- discovering new music

- divination

- mixing essential oils

- learning the traditions and stories/myths of ancient cultures

- crystals

- energy work

- learning what make me smile from the insdie out and pursuing THAT.

@blissedNblessed

So sorry to hear about the bad news from doc, hope though everything will be alright at the end 🤞.

Sometimes the worst moments in life give us the most precious gift - awakening. All over sudden we see all the things we want to do in life and what you mentioned sounds absolutely amazing! Hope you will be able to explore most of them. heart

thank you. i think the dr stuff will be okay...?

Yes!

I agree - there is like this prize/awakening/gift found in pain or situations that force you to shift.

I am getting to these things i am curious about daily - been focusing on the energy work / energy healing right now :)

enlightenedWhat are you curious about and have you or have made plans to explore it? If not, why?

I am curious to see what our potential is for compassion. It seems the more compassion I feel for others, the more fulfilled I feel. The more I focus on my own misery or problems, the worse I feel.

@soulsings

I realte to what you are saying -

if i am able to help others , i feel fulfilled.

if i am just thinking about myself and my own darkness - it just seems to grow.

maybe there is something about giving - maybe the instant we give to others, even just in for form of compassion, we recieve at the same time.

@blissedNblessed I think we have a natural instinct for compassion and empathy that can be undeveloped in a world that stresses the "survival of the fittest"

My inclination if that if we are going to survive, it will be the "survival of the most cooperative" that must replace the mottos of the past that have led to conflict and controversy.

If you think about it, the food we eat is a cooperative effort of farmers, transport people, manufacturers, wholesalers and grocers. The more I think about it, the more aspects of my life I see as cooperative efforts. We are interdependent. We need each other, right now, more than ever.

That is what I like about 7cups is how we have the opportunity to empathize and work together for the better good of all.

@soulsings

yes yes yes!

It seems that we are at a clash right now in the turmoil of this world bc our motto of, " survival of the fittest" is breaking down. That old motto based on competition - for me to have something, that means you have less -which simply is not true and it has proven so so harmful to us individually and as a community.

You are so right - we need to come together as a global community if we Are to have survival and a good quality of life.

its survival of all if we all pitch in! and stop seeing eachother as compitition or potential enemy...we are just that WE. A global species that needs to work together and come together.

I feel like the world is just breaking down right now on its old axiom of compition and the struggle of all os us isolated and me against you - that demonizing the ther in order to prove ourselves right.

things are breaking now and i am hoping they are doing so to be put together in a better way - a way that congeals when we all come together.

random fact: we are currently in the age of Aquarius!!!!mThe last time we were was the 60's! see any similarities? oh boy, yes!!!!!!!!! Things are a changing.
