Finding inner strength with mindfulness
Daily Check-In February 9th to February 11th 2026
Discovering our inner strength through mindfulness cultivates present-moment awareness and emotional regulation, which builds resilience. Mindfulness and compassion are two important things in resilience. Mindfulness will helps see things and cultivate challenges, while compassion heals and transforms us.
When we are feeling empowered we are standing up for what we believe in and what we need. Breathing exercises helps us calm our nervous system down, so we may better help ourselves.
Key practices for finding inner strength:
Mindful breathing: when you spend 5-10 minutes a day doing breathing exercises, you are releasing tension on your nervous system. This will help ground yourself into the present moment.
Positive visualization: This helps when you visualize something, the beach, nature walks, and the beach. This helps your breathing thinking of calming and soothing places.
Take in the good: Think of positive moments for 15-30 seconds to release the stress and heavy breathing, and making it slow down more. this builds resilience.
Embrace self-compassion: You begin to treat yourself like you would treat others, loving, empathetic to your needs, and work through difficult times.
Surrender and Acceptance: Surrender to the difficulties without try to make them go away. Accept your mistakes whatever they are and work on a goal to correct them.

How can you rebuild your inner self?

thank you so much for this post Pam, that is what I was strugglying with at the end of this accountability journey... it started so well and strong and then I fell... it felt like I was back on square one but I'm not because I discovered something new about myself.
@The24hrClimber
I am glad this post can help you better. keep your chin up and be strong together we can do miracles.
@pamharley003
Yes! Together!!! See you later at the meeting, Pam :)
I have found having regular meditation practice helps and having time to yourself so that you recharge is also important. I am quite critical of myself so I always have to manage negative thourghts which come in my head, need to work on improving myself.

Great post pam!
What are ways to be better to yourself? Letting go is a big one for me. Things that do not bother others often feel difficult for me to let go of or ignore.
