How to behave yourself around others
Daily check-in for September 8th to September 10th 2025
When we ask others if they see anything different in us, it allows us to regroup and work on our mistakes. Asking a friend if we said something out of context or did something teaches us where we need to change.
One way we learn not to be weird is to watch and observe other people's boundaries. We begin to notice their body language, facial expressions, and movements made when we did something weird or spoke wrong.
A good rule of thumb we need to have toward others is not to get too personal. No one appreciates others who want to know more than they should. We should get to know a person before getting personal.
Most of our social rules are shown to others that we are safe and mean no harm. For example, not standing too close to someone when we are chatting. Giving someone space means we are not a threat. Social rules teach us how to improve how we are.
People will view you according to the social skills they have placed on themselves. We each have our own form of social skills. We want to present ourselves as warm and inviting, not angry or weird. We want the other person to feel safe when in our presence.
Socializing improves our social skills. It is not a bad thing if we do not feel like socializing; maybe we do not feel well, or maybe it is the other people in the circle, maybe someone we do not want to associate with. Set the goals you want when socializing with others so you are not hurt or mistreated by others.
Allow your personality to flow when we are around family or friends. There is a difference between when to be weird and when to be normal. When you meet someone new, introduce yourself and get to know them for who they are, not what others think of them.
When you are in a circle of friends and you are all chatting, take the time to think before you speak so you do not come across to them as weird or stupid for the words you used. We are all not normal; we sometimes say things out of context, and then we have to explain why we said it or what we meant when we spoke.
When someone is talking to you around others or by yourselves, think and listen to what they are saying, not how you feel. We want to make everyone feel comfortable. There is nothing wrong with asking questions when we do not grasp what was just said.
How do you feel when you are around others?
Can we learn from mistakes made in a crowd of others?

How do you feel when you are around others?
we mostly feel like a outsider as we seen many make comments about us when they thought we could not hear them sadly this happens a lot even at church so it make us feel like a outsider a lot of the time we know we talkative when around others it a coping thing due to our social anxiety too so we tried to not do that too
we joined a group at church seem like within this group it been different they seem to care and interacted with us and if needed they say things to us about our talking or actions they not talking behind our back they also will ask us to lower our voice another thing we do is talk loudly
but we think all this is related to the home we growup on and how family interacted with each other we had to be loud to be heard when younger so we working on them things too
Can we learn from mistakes made in a crowd of others?
yes can learn from the mistakes around others and become aware of why we do the things we do when around others too

How do you feel when you are around others?
It depends. Around my safe people pretty comfortable. But around the others, with some discomfort.
Can we learn from mistakes made in a crowd of others?
By how they react, or asking about a person closer to us what we did wrong.
