Illusion of failure
Check in for : March 31st to April 2nd 2025
Failure is scary to anyone. The definition is lack of success. There is no such failure just the test of your resolve. When we fail at something only means that success is around the corner. Failure is where we learn, grow and change.
Some examples of failure are;
I can't do anything right
I'm so stupid
I'm a bad person
Affirmatiions work where we tell ourselves we can achieve anything in life as long as we fight for it. We say "We can " " I will get that job I have applied for". By saying positive things we can overcome that fear of failure.
Three key points to overcome failure:
1. developing mindfulness
2. being open to possibilities
3. believing in what you seen on the other side of the road

How do you handle failure?
What are some positive motivations you give yourself to change the failure?

To me failure is a teacher, I tried out a way that did not work but, in the process, I might have acquired valuable knowledge.
Wow this is definitely what I needed to see today. I’m petrified of failure and almost afraid of never recovering from it. But it’s important to see it as a lesson and really embrace it to move from it. I really like that you mention open yourself to possibilities. I feel that whatever you open yourself up to makes it easier to find your path that works for you. Sometimes attachment to a certain outcome makes things worse than pining for that one outcome.
