One of my favorite activities during a calmer weather is walking on grass barefoot, it feels super therapeutic and I agree, mindful walking whether it's about feeling the grass on my feet, listening to the birds around or even just music, it's so great and positively impactful.

Thank you for this thread pam, beautiful picture!

If you do walking what are things you see, hear or smell? How do you feel after walking?

I see the blue sky, the fluffy clouds, hear dogs barking and smell the ocean. This relaxes me and makes me feel connected to my surroundings.

When I go walking, I usually see trees, people passing by, maybe some birds or dogs. If it’s near a road, I might see cars and bikes too. Sometimes, I notice flowers or shop signs. It depends on where I walk.

I hear footsteps, birds chirping, the wind blowing, or people talking. If I’m in a busy area, I might hear car sounds or music from a shop. It’s like the world is gently moving around me.

I might smell fresh air, flowers, or food cooking from nearby houses or restaurants. Sometimes I smell grass, rain, or even just the warm sun on the pavement.

After walking, I usually feel more calm and peaceful. My body feels a bit more relaxed, and my mind feels lighter. Even if I was stressed before, walking helps me feel a little better.
