When it comes to boredom, I do my best to be understand of the situation.An find things for me to do whether that is work on something creative, catch up on house chores or continue to check on the family i have that talks to me. Sometimes as humans we get "bored" because it usually systems from early trauma from childhood created by the lack of attention that was given.

I say this because usually when a person is "bored" it's because they are used to not having the attention at all so when someone does give them that attention, a brain that goes through trauma especially high-impact will usually preceive gentle things as "boring" leading to unintentional "boredom"

Thank you for your information. This perspective is quite interesting! There are definitively various reasons why a person can start to suffer from boredom on a more regular basis. I find this article from Nami very interesting

With the instant gratification and endless content available on the internet, I want to try to appreciate boredom more. It's so easy to numb my brain out with inconsequential chatter, but that has so many negative consequences—if I let myself be bored (like I used to, before the internet was to this level), I can maybe actually be creative, explore, and accomplish new, worthwhile things.

@independentCup3828 the internet is a prison. And balance is needed. I hope you can find a healthy balance ❤

@amiablePeace77 bored🤔🤔🤔 um do I get bored🤔🤔 I supose so when I'm on bed rest, but then I come on this site ❤ my days are not busy and will seem pretty dull to most other people. But I like my life, I do tend to stay active during the day, even if it's just being active in my own way. Then when I'm in to much pain, that's when I come here, take my mind of things 😁❤

@Gettingbettertoday

Sometimes it can just be healthy to embrace boredom and just be.

Without boredom, we as humans would not have the taste for adventure and novelty.  Too much boredom can help us also to reflect on whether we're right on the path we're following.

My favourite thing to do when I'm bored is to sleep! :D Ofcourse if I do not have any other pending tasks that I need to finish. Other times I often find myself watching anime or listening to some music or just reading books. However, there are times when the boredom starts taking a heavy toll on me, that's when I decide to go out with my friends, or if its a nice evening, I'd just go out for a walk and that works wonders to elevate my overall mood.

I pretty much keep myself busy between work and reading so I tend to not see I am bored. But if I do get bored I take a self care nap recharge myself and carry on

@amiablePeace77. I don't personally enjoy being bored because I'll still feel it even when I'm doing something, boredom feels stressful to me

I can only imagine how dissatisfying it might be for you feeling bored and consequently stressed when doing things. When are times you feel less or not bored at all?
