What is a nice memory or an act of kindness you received this year that you would like to share with the community?
@amiablePeace77 kindness I've received this year is alot, but people here on cups, have been so very supportive and kind to me. The birthday messages I received of everyone a few weeks ago, well for the first time in my life I actually felt loved ❤ so thankyou all so much ❤❤ also my carers got me a bunny to cheer me up ❤ I lovvee him so much. And the other residents here at the old folks nursing home (where I live) bless them they all collect recycling and things I can use for art and craft ❤ God bless you all ❤ merry Christmas ❤
and yep! I'm letting the good times roll♿♿♿♿♿♿♿♿weeeeeee!♿♿♿

that is an excellent question. an act of kindness was one of my friends gave me a bar of chocolate for no reason.

she just bought me a jar of nutella. shes honestly a rly good friend and she just knows when im feeling down

yeah she is and she does. shes the most amazing friend i've ever had
@amiablePeace77 my father and mother in law taking care of our kids any time I need to get some work done and never ever complaining about it ever since the kids were born. I love them for that 💚

One nice memory was when I was with my friends at tacobell, we ordered through the drive thru because inside it was closed. So we figured that we would walk through the drive through and hopefully they would give us our food regardless. They did not. But then a couple behind us saw us and the guy thought it was cool we were trying to get food without a car because it was closed inside by using the app lol. I liked it alot because he was very friendly and funny, and he got our food for us. Bless that man and his partner.

A simple Good Morning Or Hi How Are you goes along way... We never realized it could Brighter up someone’s day.

I so agree with you. Some people who live alone, especially older folks, don't have anyone wishing them a good morning so it can make a difference in their days being acknowledged by another person.
@amiablePeace77 Yes, We have this neighbor that they said hard to deal with but when i saw her last week, i said hi and she came to me and had conversation about her cat.

Nice that you took the chance to "open the door" for her by saying "Hi". Sometimes people just need a little encouragement to come forward.
@amiablePeace77 Yes idk her personally but i once witness her difficult tirade but i guess she’s lonely and having to talk to someone could make their Day, right? She was ecstatic talking about her cat and guess what, i baked Chocolate Banana Muffin and and just delivered a couple to her door! She didnt open her door ( which she’s very cautious with scammer she said) so i called her in her landline ( which takes 10 Rings before she picked up and she doesnt play with spam called either ). I told her i left muffins on her front door. So...she said Thank You.

A few months ago, I was barely on time for a doctor's appointment and was running for the bus. I didn't need to go too far, and I must have looked exhausted, because the bus driver just told me to hop on for free. I had been really stressed that morning and that interaction made my entire day.

Yeah, I guess he must have. Probably he'd been in my position before haha. It was a really lovely thing to do, a lovely memory that I hope I get to keep for the rest of my life (I have memory problems unfortunately, but usually if it sticks with me for this long, it'll stay forever :D)

Reading about good memories can be a helpful tool when feeling down. Have you ever thought about writing a memory booklet like " My Memory Lane"?

I went to a nearby bakery to see if they had any cake, as it's my birthday 🎈🎂 today. They didn't, but a lady with a really nice smile and good teeth gave me a free cinnamon bun!
