What is one of the most compassionate acts you've seen recently?

I think the kindness of strangers will always be the most compassionate thing for me to see. I see it alot here at cups ❤

@Tinywhisper11
Nice I could make you laugh! Tbh the way the zebras were photographed made me smile too but I loved the neck hugging 😀 - so compassionate! I see a lot of compassion here too, especially from you!

Yesterday on my way to therapy, I stopped to get a cup of coffee where me and a guy engaged in a conversation. When I got to check out and pay for my coffee the gentleman told the clerk he was paying for both of our cups of coffee. That was so nice of him😊
@WorkingitThrough2 awww see you can't beat the kindness of a stranger ❤❤
@Tinywhisper11
Thanks😊
Compassionate acts are not something I see too often these days, so I don't have an example.
However, I do like that here in the place that I moved to there is a charity with services located in a few different towns. This particular area is more rural and often lacks access to basic social services, unlike the eastern parts of the state. So that's cool at least.

I hear you. Many people seem to struggle right now (Covid situation) and just focus on getting their needs met and often simply do not have the energy anymore to help others. I'm thankful for everyone who is still compassionate. I see a lot of compassion here on the site too.
Nice that you have that charity to help out with services!

Oh man during the height of the pandemic people were just awful! I understand that hardships can make us mean, but some people were actually using the stress from the pandemic as an excuse to be mean, and that just wasn't right at all.
I'm glad that sort of thing has calmed down a lot, though.
Sorry, I didn't mean for the crude response. That sort of behavior just really got to me, especially since I had to deal with it so often as an "essential employee".
@cafedaydreams
It is really sad that some people take an emergency situations or pandemics as excuse for bad behaviour. To me it's okay to explain why one has reacted like they did but not put all on Covid. Unfortunately Covid became the excuse for many things nowadays. Sorry that you have to deal with such situations, sounds very stressful. What are you currently doing to increase strengthen yourself to stay calm?
