I think my favorite thing I watched was "I love Lucy" which I watched when I was around 6-8 (not a child but it's the most memorable) since I would just laugh for such a long time til the point where I felt like it was hard to breathe
I'm noticing a pattern at night when I try to sleep. I can't. I either slee for a few hours and wake up with a migraine and a racing heartbeat. I recently scut out ALL of the foods that rent healthy. So I'm eating better and working out. But I feel pressure in my head and I don't know why. I'm really noticing how it's effecting my sleep and I know this isn't healthy. Im used to dealing with my emotions by eating something but now since I'm not doing that anymore, ny sleeping is worse. I know it's something subconsciously that I need to work on but I can't think of what it is. If anyone has any tips on how to over one this I would appreciate it.
@Antoniette12
Hi Antoniette, nutrition and exercise definitively play a big role in how we feel and it's great that you made the necessary changes. I must be frustrating that despite all what you did your sleep got worse. Do you find yourself laying in bed and thoughts are racing through your mind or something deep inside of you is trying to surface?
Bob Ross. enjoyed the sound of the bushes as he made his happy little paintings. spreading the colors and the happy mistakes that he transformed into part of an overall picture.his voice and overall manner were riveting. very mindful in a flow state type of way.
@amiablePeace77 I wasn't much of a tv watcher as a kid. I liked to visit my friends in their house or do things outside with them.
@amiablePeace77 I loved having a bowl of cereal and watching The Bozo Show. I always wished my parents would get those tickets one day

What was your favourite thing to do or to watch on television as a child and why?
My favorite thing to do when I was a kid was walk to the park near my grandparents home on days when my cousins were there with my sister and I. There were many times when it was just me and my sister heading to the park with my grandma but the days my cousins joined us meant we were doing to have twice as much fun.
Our favorite thing to watch on television was Mr. Roger's Neighborhood at my grandparent's house (they didn't have cable) and Spongebob at my own house.
Want to tag: @nwaveo and @UDT to join me in answering this question :)

When i was a kid i really really liked to read books. I would spend hours reading. I think book lovers will relate with this. I used to make my parents get me a book everytime i could and then i would just get lost in my book. I had no knowledge of how much time have passed or what was happening around me. It was just me and my book.
Now as an adult, i wish could get lost in a book that way as i would when i was a kid.
For television show, i would say i was that kid who was only into cartoon. SpongeBob SquarePants, Courage the cowardly dog were really good shows. But I really used to watch Tom and Jerry almost all the time. I think it's time for confessing that i watch these cartoons whenever i get to even though I'm an adult now. Which is fine, right?😂
@UDT Of course it's fine that you still watch those shows now. It means that you are still a child at heart that can still enjoy the simple things :)
Have you been reading anything lately?
@SecretlyMe
Yeah i also like to keep this inner child alive. Really helps to get through some situations
Sadly, i haven't been reading, after leaving school and joining college i almost forgot how it feels to actually read for fun or happiness it gives. So no i haven't been reading for my own satisfaction lately
@UDT I haven't read for pleasure in a long time either. It's so easy to lose time for it when school and other responsibilities add up.
@SecretlyMe
I hope we both find time to start reading again in the future
@UDT
Nothing is better than a good book which really draws you into it, as if you are part of the story exited to read the next chapter. Less and less people nowadays read paper books, or read at all, although reading has many benefits. Hope you will get back at it.
@amiablePeace77
I liked shows that made me laugh! And watched plenty of them with my family... I watched shows during a very GREAT time for Television!..
I grew up in the 80's so there wasn't much on TV that "wasn't" considered a good show!....
@PoliteOcean
I hear you, those days had great shows and movies too, one of my favorites was the "Golden Girls" (did not watch them at that time though but lateron).
@amiablePeace77
YES.. I still watch those on "re-runs".. I loved most of the Popular 'Sitcoms".. Like Family Ties, Growing Pains, Facts of Life, The Cosby Show, Full House, Whos the Boss... Soooooo many more I could name, but would be here all day. lol
@amiablePeace77
I love lucy, courage the cowardly dog and the old Zorro tv series from the 50's.
I loved courage as a cartoon. But my grandfather and I would watch the other two together.
@bribrigal2010
I think watching with granddad must have made it extra special.
Remember Zorro, was fascinated by him
.
@amiablePeace77 EXACTLY!!! I love that you know that! We used to watch all the old shows and movies together!!
Hello Everyone! I also did not have a tv when I was growing up when I started babysitting during the summers I got to watch it whe the children were napping and I occasionally watched the reruns of the "I Love Lucy" show and had a hard time keeping quiet because I would be laughing so hard. At home I read constantly and I have never stopped doing so. :)
