Recently I picked up embroidery. It’s an activity that relaxes me. Whenever I finish a design, I feel proud of myself. I get the chance to learn a new skill and have something prettty that I can put around on my bedroom wall.

Going to the gym. I have recently started going to CrossFit and the community is awsome. They accept you for who you are. Everyone comes from different backgrounds and has their own goals. But we all have a shared goal goal too. From the moment I walked in the door I felt accepted, whether I finish the WOD or gas and die everyone is supportive. At the end of the WOD many people will visit and talk about life and the good and or bad. The community is more genuine than I have experienced in a long time. I am able to be myself openly and unashamed.

It makes so much more fun when you train in a welcoming environment! Glad you feel well there. I saw they even offer online courses which is great for people who live in countries where there are no CrossFit gyms.

Recently I was watching Shadow and Bone on Netflix and I have been very invested after reading Bardugo's books. I think that the show on Netflix is way better than the books because not only does it do a perfect job of capturing everything from the books into a TV series, but it also adds something new and exciting and deepens the overall story. There are sides from the books that we have not seen. It is a shame that Netflix canceled this show after two seasons. I even bought two shirts from Hot Topic and they were on clearance!

It can feel frustrating when the show we like is cancelled but maybe the audience watching it was just too small. Nice that you could get a deal with the T-shirts though. I saw on the internet that they suggested some similar shows like House of the Dragon or Supernatural.

Going out with my kids. I went walking on the cliffside by the ocean with my son. I went shopping with my daughter. Both times it was just nice to hang out and talk with them about everything going on in their lives.
