The Ancient Art of Mind Control

Daily Check-in for November 10th to November 12th 2025

Mind control ( brain washing ) is a when other people try to control your mind. The person or group will try to change your opinions and beliefs. They will use unusal minipulations and unethical methods to have you believe what their telling you.

While people can be coerced into doing somthing specific or are forced to say something against their will. When someone brain washes you they will continue till you break down and follow what their saying. Someone who is not a true friend will earn your trust and once they see they have what they need begin to intimidate you through verbal or physical threats. They want to control your every day movements.

How do you break free from these people. there is something called the BITE model. I have added what they are below.

Behavioral Control- This controls your actions, environment, and routines of your daily life.

Information Control- This is accurate information to restrict in influencing a person.

Thought Control- The techniques in how someone control your mind through verbal abuse.

Emotional Control-  This will make a person feel guilt, fear, and other emotions we have.

We need to break free from these people and rediscover our values, beliefs and get back our identity. A way to notice someone who is doing this look at their sudden personality change. New fear are an indicator to someone who is changing, their changes in attitude, kindness and caring for others.

How can you break free from someone who is trying to control you?

ask for space and time…

dealing with things while emotional is not good for anyone. Most understand that. And even if they don’t, intentionally or not, and have problems leaving things unresolved for a short period of time.

Surly they want the most rational you to respond?

To be ok?

You could make drastic decisions detrimental to them being pushed for an immediate response, resolution.

Personally I think the space to think poses a bigger detrimental effect to to manipulation they risk it.

just ask for time to think about things. Seek external advice.

observe and learn if given the opportunity.

there’s not much more you can do 🤷🏻‍♀️

It is well described about Trauma bonding leads to loss of self esteem.

To overcome this, need to build a support system that encourages, uplifts and motivates us enough to compensate all the gaslighting that is done by toxic partner.

Having a support group of friends or family that constantly reminds us of our strength, qualities helps us to keep our morality intact.

I would say that changing others is not in our hand.

Only thing in our control is Us.

Self care is necessary.

Our mental peace is our priority.

Alternatively, 'Coming out of toxic environment' is best option but considering it might not be easy or sustainable in few cases. So, above measures are what I think in my personal opinion can be taken into action to keep the sanity intact.

Again, these are my personal thoughts to deal with the situation.

How can you break free from someone who is trying to control you?

I would ask them to give me some space, set clear boundaries how far they can go and also tell myself "This is something they want but I do not need to do it, I have a choice".
