Daily check in: July 18th - July 21st 2024

This weeks Check In is about us recharging ourselves if we feel run down, burned - out.

There are times in our lives that we need to stop and recharge ourselves when needed. This helps us become more mindful in our daily activities. When our minds are constantly going we can tend to burn out and need a chance to rewind and go on to perform better. It can be doing meditation, yoga or even a power nap.

By taking a little break it helps our mental, emotional and physical well being. In our daily life we can tend to get caught up in too much with work, home life and everyday lives. By taking a mini break we can focus on what is going on at the time and how to recharge ourselves to live a care free non stressful time.

here are some ways to recharge our inner batteries:

@pamharley003

A much-needed post pam. Thank you for reminding us about recharging our batteries, so important!

Something that helps me to recharge again is having a self-pampering day, no work, just doing some relaxing things, having a nice healthy meal and watching a good movie at night. The next day it feels like I had a little vacation! 😊

@amiablePeace77

I belong to several emails for mindfulness and that is where I get some of my ideas for a post. Recharging is something I think some of us forget to do in life.

@pamharley003 I totally agree and thanks for sharing the ways to help us recharge <3 ^-^

Get away, I just try to visit some new place even if just for a day. Helps refresh the mind and makes you feel recharged to focus again.

How do you feel when you regroup yourself and continue on ?

I feel stronger :)

What do you do when it has been too hard to focus on daily life habits what do yo do to recharge yourself?

It is a constant struggle to focus on the activities of daily living. Even just to think about getting started on the tiniest step. Or breaking down the steps in order to be tiny and manageable. Then to believe I'm worth doing it for, if it's something for me. This is something I struggle with routinely. I'm not sure how to answer because self-care is elusive. The best I can do right now is talk to someone online and listen to soothing music.

How do you feel when you regroup yourself and continue on?

I'll let you know when I succeed. I predict, mood willing, that I might perhaps feel more confident in my ability to cope. Until I have to do it again, and the battle begins anew.

I start small, keep track of habits like brushing my teeth or skin care.

How do you feel when you regroup yourself and continue on ?
It feels nice to take some time off, and then get on again.
thanks for the post!
