How you can deepen your meditation
Daily Check-In for May 1st to May 3rd 2026
Deepening your meditation means having a consistent daily practice and transitioning from focused attention to the open state of awareness. You want to establish a daily pattern of meditating so it becomes easy for you.
The key to a deeper meditation is to affirm and reaffirm the object you're focusing on minute after minute. You key in on one thing and keep that focus while breathing in and out to relax your body and mind. Here are some key ways to deepen your practice:
Physical Stillness—Relax your body and only let your breathing do the work.
Refine your breaths: Focus on your breathing more while your body is relaxed. Let your exhale out longer than your inhale.
Consistent routine: Make the mediation a daily routine in your life. Find a place where you can relax and meditate.
Start small: Begin your meditation by doing it slowly, then build it up to a more routine.
When you begin meditating, set an intention for it. What you would like out of the meditation. Begin with a much more relaxed and non-tensed body; let your mind go free and release the tension in your body.
How can you relax before meditating? What works for you?
How do you feel afterwards?

How can you relax before meditating? What works for you? How do you feel afterwards?
Meditation always helps me to find inner peace and balance. When I feel particularly stressed, I usually take a few deep breaths and then start a guided meditation because guided would be easier to follow for me at that time.

I think true meditation comes from calling the feeling of the after bc we always forget how good we feel after...we always think of the fatigue to start.

How can you relax before meditating? What works for you?
Before meditating, I like to take a few slow breaths and give myself a moment to transition from whatever I was doing.
Finding a quiet space and letting go of distractions helps me settle into the present.
What works best for me is keeping it simple and allowing myself to relax without expecting anything specific from the experience.
How do you feel afterwards?
Afterwards, I usually feel calmer and more grounded.
My thoughts may not completely disappear, but they often feel less overwhelming.
Meditation helps me slow down, reconnect with the present moment, and approach the rest of my day with a greater sense of clarity and balance.
