Quiet Chaos
Hi beautiful soul's 😊 i hope u guy's doing good 😊
So, I’m feeling uncertain and confused lately.
Not overwhelmed, but it’s slowly eating me inside — heavy emotions and guilt sitting quietly.
I’m not looking for big advice.😅 like Just small, practical tips I can use one step at a time to clear my head and feel steady again.
If you’ve been through this, what helped you?
Hiya @Ailuraphilelove8tear9 First off, a big yay to you for reaching out. Even though those feelings are "quiet," I know how heavy they can actually feel when they're sitting in your chest all day. It takes a lot of self-awareness to recognize that slow "eating away" feeling before it turns into a total burnout.
I’ve definitely been in that headspace where guilt and confusion just sort of cloud everything. When things feel foggy, the best thing you can do is probably just stop trying to solve the "big" problems and just focus on your immediate surroundings, and breathing/ grounding, I feel.
What helps me center myself during times of chaos and panic, is usually being alone in a quiet corner where I can put my focus back to my breathing. At times putting on music helps too, or a short guided mindfulness exercise. Oh and walking, especially brisk walking, it calms my nerves in some way haha!
Some people like to talk to a trusted person too, (you can always reach out to listeners here as well 💛) or journal or even draw/ doodle/ scribble if words seem too hard to form/ write/ type/ let out.
Have you tried either ways to feel more restored before during similar times?
Offering hugs to you, I hope you feel calmer as the day progresses. 🤗
Hey hii 😊 @Sunisshiningandsoareyou 💞
First of all, a big hug to you for reaching out 🌸 it truly means a lot to me. I’m really grateful for your kindness and concern 💗
To be honest, I’ve been carrying these feelings for several years now. It slowly turned into something like chronic emotional pain. Realizing what I’m actually going through itself took a lot of time. I tried many times to fix things, but after repeated falls, I eventually stopped trying and just carried guilt instead. When my parents — and even my own self — look at me like I’ve failed, it hurts deeply, and I end up feeling despaired.
For a long time, I carried heavy emotions while pretending to be happy. But I’m truly thankful for this community. Being here lets me finally open up, ask for help, and feel kindness, empathy, and compassion — it’s what’s holding me together right now 😊
The hardest part is that I struggle with consistency and productivity. I keep messing up. I have to face something important in a few days — it could either pull me down further or give me one more chance to move forward. That thought alone makes me very apprehensive. I keep replaying it in my head, and with all this chaos, I can’t focus on the present. I procrastinate endlessly, choose my bed over effort, and then drown in guilt. It hurts to admit, but I feel like I wasted this whole year 😔
I do try — walking, exercise, yoga, journaling, self-care, drawing occasionally. But right now, I feel despaired. I don’t see progress, and it makes me feel like I’m slowly destroying myself. I know I should start again, but I’m afraid of falling apart once more. I’m scared of those eyes — the looks that silently say, “You can’t do it. Just quit. You don’t deserve it.”
That weight is heavy… isn’t it?
I’m sorry if this sounds messy. I’m honestly clueless right now and trying my best to understand myself. I really want to rewire my mindset — I just don’t know how yet.
Thank you for being here. Hugs received 💝✨
Sending lots of love and blessings your way 💞
