Mindfulness Checkin November 8 2017

November 8th, 2017

Hello mindfulness community! How are you all doing?

Lately, it can be hard to get into the mood of being mindful. It may require to listen to longer mindfulness audio exercises to feel mindful or to go to a quiet room. What helps you to get into the mindful mood, longer audio exercises or shorter ones? Are there any specific mindfulness audio exercises that helps you get them quicker? For me, medium sized audio exercises help me to feel mindful.

There are some quick (less than 8 minutes) guided medication apps I like using on my phone. Other than that, I try to practice mindfulness through breathing exercises and being aware of my feelings and senses. I don't need to be in a quiet place, but I do need to "quiet myself".

@wonderfulPumpkin71

hi pumpkin, in the morning i will just do a quick one, usually 3 to 5 minutes, lateron may be max. 10 minutes and a longer one in the evening before sleep 15 to 20 min. , which is the most relaxing one. longer than 20 minutes is challenging for me.
