Yes- today is WORRY-LESS WEDNESDAY
Hello community so good to see you all today. So this is gonna be so so simple today. I know "don't worry be happy" may be taken both ways-good/bad. But in reality what does worrying do to us?
*creates more anxiety
*loss of sleep
*creates some fear
* messes alot with our emotional/physical health
So much goes wrong when we worry a lot. But in some cases of worry it "gets us moving" on something important. Also worry on a loved ones health and so on. So how can we just let go of all our worries? How can we focus on what we can do/have comtrol over?
Please in this place, know it's safe and welcoming, use it. Use it to vent out all your worries. Then come up with a way you can change what you have power to do...We are a loving community and will support each other

@RumpleSteeleSkin I have offered up my worries as an offering to my present self. Without all those worries and anxieties I would not be the me that I am right now. So I offer them up without trying to clean them up or sanitize them and just rest in the still waters of the present moment. And it feels so good to be here for this moment. And I rest...
@soulsings
Ha Souls I had to read that 3 times, it sounded calming you know
It is good that you have some form of control on worry. Some got it some don't. some working on it and some...need extra hugz
I know for me the worry sets of if I get to stressed. So Im learning all about Rumple
@RumpleSteeleSkin glad you find it calming. Thanks for sharing.
@RumpleSteeleSkin Hi Rumple!!!
How are you? I hope you are having a lovely day and week so far!
This is a really great post, and I am glad that you focused on worry as well as how it affects us in different ways and different types of worries we may have. I tend to be an over-worrier. I always have been, and since my health has always been weak, I am easily, strongly, and overall negatively impacted by worries, stress, anxiety, and more.
I try to let go of my worries by trying to understand what particular I am worried about, what I can do to overcome it, and then make some type of game plan as to how I can resolve it and/or get rid of it. I try to focus on how I can always resolve and overcome a worry rather than ruminate over it as it is detrimental for my health otherwise, even though it's not always easy to do.
I usually worry about being enough - good enough, smart enough, etc.. but I know it comes from a place of not accepting myself for how I am. It comes from worrying too much about other people's opinions and assessments. I need to give that too myself and not try to get it from others.
@RumpleSteeleSkin
Thank you for the post...
Worry is a consumer of energy... and I am drained. I think I have them cast away, set aside, or neutralized... and the worries seem to creep back in a new form about the same topics. The stress just triggers the worries... and worry triggers more stress... and the cycle continues.
Family stress -- the pressure and manipulation to meet the needs and desires of a growing group to do one things they want and not being in a position to do it - mentally, financially, and emotionally. Then my caretaking role for Mum seems to be changing.... I'm not ready.
Job Stress -- worrying if I will have a job when I go in or when I leave at the end of the day. The struggle to find another job and trying to discern what I want to do and where to do it. Where are all these jobs they keep talking about? I want a job where it doesn't take 2 paycheck just to pay the mortgage and leaving me to choose what to skimp on to pay the bills. (usually groceries and gas for the car)
Financial Stress -- where am I supposed to get the money to do everything. Car repairs, house repairs, health care as I have no insurance, vet bills, pet care, groceries, support my mum, etc. Winning lottery numbers??
One day at a time... one thing at a time... but I'm still struggling to find solutions, figuring out how to deal with all the uncertainity, or to kick them to the back burner for a while. idk... I'm just tired and things just keep coming.
@RumpleSteeleSkin
Hey rumple, first of all thanks for your devotion to give us such good posts and also the lovely pictures.
I can be worrying a lot, everything has to be planned, i like to know what to do when something happens, always be well prepared. this is not possible, trust in the future and also in others saves us from overworrying, but it has to be developped. Recently I made very good experiences and realized that my worrying is only lost energy. Sometimes bad things encourage our mind to rethink our attitudes so they become actually helpful.
I worry about things about forgetting things and being thrown off balance later on. I send myself a lot of email reminders and I try to remind myself to do things in a non-judgemental way. The worry issue is a very good question for me as I have issues with not being in control especially in the middle of the night. Like many people I worry about not having enough money but I never go hungry so I probably should not worry so much about that just keep on doing what I'm doing and save as much as I can. It does feel a lot better not to worry so much. Worry does help me get things done but only in a limited way. If I can't get something done right now then I shouldn't worry about it. I worry about getting in trouble. I worry about people not liking me and I'm working on that right now. I worry that my mental and emotional problems won't be solved by the time I'm on my deathbed. But probably everybody else has that problem so I shouldn't worry about that I should laugh about that that's kind of funny period humor helps me a lot with worry and anxiety.
