Mindfulness Daily Check-In October 7, 2017
Good morning everyone!
7 days into October and I'm feeling great and ready to bring out all the autumn (or if you prefer, fall!) activities.
Relating to Rumple's post yesterday, everyone seems to have a lot of work now that we are all trying our best to get done as quickly as we can. It is important to take regular breaks when studying, but having the motivation and self control to know when you need to get back to working.
I've got 3 questions for discussion:
1) what motivates you to keep working?
2) what do you do in your breaks from working?
3) what do you best look forward to after a long day?
Thank you all for checking in today, keep on studying and have a lovely weekend! <3

@peppermintlove thank you :)
@peppermintlove
Peppermint thank you for this great check-in. All this talk on how we are so busy-busy in our lives- and then trying to find when to be mindful is kinda hard. But with 1 mindfulness action repeated over and over will develope into something positive !!
1) what motivates you to keep working?
Well my motivation is really money. As to live comfortably you have to work. So it's more commiting to more hours.
2) what do you do in your breaks from working?
My breaks in between busy life are, sitting by the lake a few times a week and just watching the birds, the trees and nature. Here alot of times, a long bath with Netflix
3) what do you best look forward to after a long day?
My bed
And quietness
@RumpleSteeleSkin
Hiya! It's very refreshing to hear how mindful you are in your breaks from working! Sounds like it would help reduce stress and make you feel a lot more relaxed, and I'm glad to hear that when you aren't busy doing work you actually go out and actively participate in nature :D
Also haha your answer to the third question - I can definitely relate to that :)
Thank you for checking in today <3
@peppermintlove
hahahaha
If all else fails....GRAB COFFEE!!!
@peppermintlove you asked
1) what motivates you to keep working? The joy of working. The feeling of accomplishment
2) what do you do in your breaks from working? Yoga, exercises, Qi Gong, mindfulness
3) what do you best look forward to after a long day? Finding a quiet place within
1) what motivates me to keep working - the love to the "work" I am doing
2) what I am doing in my breaks - meet my gf in a park, of course my daily exercises, going somewhere with my husband, creating things I need
3) after a long day I look forward to a nice healthy dinner, followed by bed and a movie
