Happy Weekend!!! heart

Most of us experience stress daily. We try to look for different ways to manage our stress, emotions and thoughts. We try to learn coping skills to deal with daily stress.

Coping Skills!!

Probably we all have different kind of coping ways. Some would be relying on short breaks or long? Some would be trying to do journaling? Some would be using distraction as coping way. But!

Have you considered ever music as a way to cope up with daily stress and emotions? Music considered as a good way to practice mindfulness.

According to the Journal Psychiatry, "Music is made up of rhythm and harmony, which are present in our everyday lives."

Human tends to listen music as their emotions are in specific day. If you're sad, you likely to like sad music while you like soft music when you're joyful. Music could help to re-energize, restore and rebuild your focus and energy in daily life. It improves your well-being. It heals you!! heart

So, as its going to be weekend for most of us. How about listening music and help ourselves to deal with stress of the week? Even if you have lot of work to do this weekend or you're working, then also its fine. Just toss on headphones and choose some songs to listen from your music playlists stored in your iPod or phone? Observe yourself, your thoughts, your emotions. Listen the beats and lyrics of song, feel it, enjoy it. And feel fresh and relaxed.

Just tune in with yourself and experience the calmness. And, one step towards practicing mindfulness!!!

Let's share your thoughts on it! Tell us what kind of music you listen often? Any favorite song or album you would like us to listen too?

@ASilentObserver

Morning Happy Weekend Everyone!

I love my classical music, I also love film soundtracks, there is some wonderful Harry Potter Music or Avatar, and I can drift back into the film when I am listening.

Funny thing I also like rap, that is good for me as it takes all my brain to try and follow the words lol!

@ASilentObserver Hi Obs! :) Great post, and I love the gif of Jake! :) I do believe that music does help a person feel better when they are listening to it. I also noticed that I listen to music that represents how I currently feel. And so, sometimes if I am feeling sad and am listening to sad music, I actually try to change it to something more upbeat and positive to cheer myself up instead of dwelling on my sadness. I listen to all types of music really. Punjabi, Hindi, Rock, Alternative, R&B, Hip-Hop, Rap, Classical, Country, Dancehall, K-Pop, etc. My favorite band is The Neighborhood. My favorite singer is Lana Del Rey. My favorite album is Chuck by Sum 41. My favorite K-Pop group is Blackpink while my favorite K-Pop singer is Sunmi. I cannot even decide on a single favorite song as I love so many!

Oh wow I love this heart music helps me in so many ways. I play the piano, classical music; listening to it and playing really helps me practise mindfulness as I am focused in the present moment. I usually listen to quite chilled out music in my free time and it does help me de-stress and improve my mood. Thanks for the check-in :D
