November 6, 2017 Mindfulness Daily Check in

November 6th, 2017

Hello wonderful beautiful people!! How is your day going?
Today's mindful exercise is about letting go of your past and future. And be completely in the now. So take a deep breath and relax. Forget about what worries you and what hurts you.
Today's exercise is simple. I love the analogy in it.

So imagine a ball in front of you. Hands holding it. Chest high. Extend arms like gathering a field of flowers. Breath in while bringing arms to chest.
Turn palms away. Push forward. Releasing all negativity and exhale slowly.
Do this until all thoughts are lost. And it feels like you're floating. You can add a mindful interpretational dance if you want to as well without the music. Just you and your deep breathing letting all the negativity go.

If it helps say what you're letting go of aloud.

These negative thoughts that haunt you will be gone. Be mindful of the thoughts leaving your mind. They can't control you anymore.

@Butterflycat thanks for this wonderful exercise of letting go. It is something I can do when I am in my room wanting to relax and let go of the racing thoughts or emotions. Thanks for sharing it.
