As a Muslim, I pray 5 times a day.. :) I Can't really describe how peaceful it is to pray specifically while reciting the holly Quran and while making Sujud "Putting my forehead on the ground".. Praying before dawn maybe at 3 am is Sunnah and not one of the 5 prayers but it's really peaceful specially if i were a sleep then woke up to pray it.. :)

Foursquare Breathing:

Imagine a square. Breathe in through your nose for four seconds to one side of the square. Hold for four seconds to side two of the square. Breathe out for four seconds through your mouth through side three of the square. Hold for four seconds to side four of the square.

This halts any adrenalin.

@helpfulApricot3537 I havent heard of this before. I think Ill try it and see how it goes. Although sometimes when Im panicking I forget to breathe or when I try to slow my breathe something makes me lose track visualizing it might help.

I meditate. It does wonders for clearing my mind &, over time, it has given my mind more order. My thoughts are no longer torrential downpours.. they line up more or less now.. almost waiting their turns, if you will.
