Daily milestones
Hi everyone! I wish I could reach out to every one of you; give you a big hug, make sure you are smiling, and tell you, you are doing a great job! No matter what, you have accomplished something! Whether it be letting yourself hold a short conversation with someone, or just maintaining eye contact, you are one step closer to being a FREE-ER, HAPPIER, HEALTHIER YOU. Some more examples could be reading more than usual, waking up earlier than usual to eat breakfast and/or go for a morning walk/jog; there are so many things you can add and implement into your life. I deal with anxiety, so every time I maintain eye contact with someone, or get somewhere on time, I need to properly congratulate myself!
I make it a habit to set daily goals that align with who I want to be. The three things that I want to see in me in the near future is: good health, simple living, and be more comfortable around people.
Today I set and accomplished:
Walking 2 miles
Cleaned 1 rack of my closet
Said hi to 3 new co-workers
Please, I'd love to see what mini goals you are planning, or have achieved! Anything and everything is an accomplishment, remember that!
@Skyy0 Hello Mimi, and thanks for sharing this post with us! Always appreciate your support and positive attitude. For sure, every goal, big or small, does make a difference. You do well in setting realistic mini goals to help achieve your long term goals. :) Keep up the excellent work!
@Skyy0 That's freaking awesome!
Seeing this really makes me want to appreciate every little thing in daily life more. Thank you for sharing this, and keep on keeping on
So today I accomplished something that isn

I am so proud! Go you!
I completely get how it's hard to get through and really work towards something, without some substance "help". Great job in being self-aware that you don't need it. Know that there is a community here going through the same thing as you. I love writing, but sometimes I just hate it, and what I hate more is just letting time slip by.
Keep it up!!
so, today - out of the blue, my therapist/reiki healer, said she thought we might go to once a month or less or every 2 weeks- was so odd.Felt so abandoned by her. so later, I texted her for clarification of she had said that ( we have been seeing 1x a week forever). I asked if she could tell me if it is that she is no longer comfortable working with me or if it was something i did...
I got a better answer than my thoughts gave me....
but I feel so abandoned.
But I have not slipped into SH or depression or tears, or hoplesness or self hate.
I am just keepingon, keeping on.

I have been starting my day with positive intentions , exercise and meditation and it has kept me pretty calm in a very heart wrenching and trying week. It seems easier to manage moments rather than entire days right now. I am greatful.
Woke up today and ate breakfast, hit with big wave of the sad lied down and woshed to disappear for next 5hours! now i just got uo and am starting my day again, i feel like i won a lil something by still getting up today. im enjoing my supposed-to-be-morning coffee!
I've been struggling with my thesis for a long time. Set a goal to send an e-mail to my thesis supervisor by Friday (which terrifies me), hit send today (with some help) :)
@Fritsel1
I am really proud of you for achieving this goal today! That's a really big step you took, and I'm really happy to see you do so well! Keep up the hardwork, and always keep looking forward
I had made it to a work meeting and was able to get everybody in my family coffee.
@isucklol

@Skyy0
My goals are to be in good health (more or less be comfortable not being skinny/gaining weight), get my undergrad degree, and try to be more independent (as well as taking control of my emotions)
So far, I have:
1. Signed up for 2 college classes in the summer after not being in school for a year
2. Ate a decent lunch of cheese pizza and a cup of hummus (I have warmed the pizza on the stove without help)
3. Met with my counselor about coming back to school
