Did you just earn a new badge??!! Let us know which badge, how you earned it & well give you a high five!
I'm a new listener on 7 cups of tea. I've been a member recieving help here for a while! I just got my depression badge and reached 1,000+ cheers! I'm very proud of myself from evolving from a member desperately seeking help to a listener earning badges. I also filled out the active listener 1 course! Fingers crossed i passed.
@HaydenSunshine Congrats! #ATLove
Took my first step with weight management... I've been poisoning myself with food for so long.
I know I can do it!

I am glad that I have earned the Anxiety Badge after the completion of the Anxiety Course.
I wish to share my thoughts on the course:
i).
In lesson 4, there is a line which is "Once you challenge your faulty thoughts or beliefs, new truth needs to be identified."
I wish to convey that 'Truth' is always same. There is no such thing called old truth and new truth. If an incorrect information was causing anxiety to a person, then the need should find the 'just' truth.
ii).
In lesson 5, there is an exercise for which the name is given is 'Deep Muscle Relaxation' and reference for the same given as 'adapted from Martin & Pear, 2002, pp. 382-383'. Actually, the exercise is derived from an Ancient Indian Exercise called 'Yoga Nidra'. I think the name and the reference for the exercise given are incorrect and violate the copyrights law.

@blogger123 thank you

My first conversation was actually really nice.
At first it was stiff, because I was sticking to that robotness that 7cups says to be like.
Which I know that's not how some people feel and that's not the intended purpose, but I always felt weird and gross when I needed help and my listener was always so stiff and awkward like they were walking on eggshells. I always felt uncomfortable.
It was nice to hear from my talker that they felt comfortable and that it was refreshing.
In their words "I actually feel normal, like a person, thank you."
I felt so bad that anyone in their life even made them feel unnormal to begin with, but I'm happy I was able to help them.
Even though we're technically not allowed to help, but listening is still helping.
i am so glad i just earned a badge
# greet and meet one
