Hello All,

About to see my Dad for the first time in several years, and it's bringing up a lot of baggage that I'm having a really hard time processing.

I'm coming here to get/give support, and maybe keep myself from falling back into a deeper depression.

I've never embraced something like this platform, but I don't have many people to turn to right now and I'm embarassed to talk about my depression with the one or two people I'd trust. I don't want to be a downer during the holiday season to the people I care about... but I could really use a friend right now.
