I finish writing the 16 week curriculum, so I'm on an easy week this week. I've pulled resources for the next curriculum. But I'm not going to start writing it until next week or the week after.
This week I plan to spend time playing, doing paperwork that has been put off for the curriculum, and I'm not sure what else, perhaps rewrite my to-do list? I have 121 things on it and I crossed off 32 things from it. So I really want to rewrite it because now it's messy with everything crossed off. lol

lol I rewrote it tonight and I'm down to 90 after I added a couple things that will be easy to tick off once I sit down and do them. They have deadlines these next couple weeks so that will knock about 10 off.

@IsayUncle Hey Uncle. This is a busy week. I decided to hatch some of my chickens eggs. (Yeah I'm not sure what I was thinking either 😅) I have 16 in the incubator and the last candling showed 14 are doing their eggy thing lol
They should start hatching next weekend. But I need to get things ready for them. I also want to clean out the big henhouse. The cherries are almost ready to pick and some sugar peas are soon ready. I need to watch some videos about pruning plums trees because I think I'm not pruning them hard enough 😕 There's a bunch of little stuff thrown in. Trip to the feed mill for peep feed. I have to get something for the cat cause I think he has ear mites 😬 He's been off his game because there's way too many chipmunks around. And I need to look at frankenmower because its not running right. I had to tear the tractor apart last week because a mouse decided it was a good idea to make a nest
I need to get in touch with the lawyer to tell him that to the best of my knowledge all my father's bills are paid. Now we can start figuring out the inheritance taxes. Which he had left me a car. It kept it out of probate but I still have to pay inheritance tax on it. Which is total BS. Anyway slowly reaching the end of that nightmare
Tbh my motivation for much has seriously been lacking. I spend days doing nothing just to spend other days running around trying to catch up

Nuggets are from the meanest nastiest roosters. The ones that hide behind the bushes plotting your demise and then chase you through the yard promising to show you the true meaning of Kung Pow chicken 😳 There's one of those here. A big Brahma rooster by the name of Cluck Norris. He lives up to his name - next time I'll name the rooster fluffy or something cute 😂

Hey, im doing Ok. thx. tbh if i say too much....... 😰.....😱..... Holding my breath and walking a financial tightrope. My car broke down and my dump truck broke down. $$$$ 1000's of $$$ on both fronts. May have to get a loan. But everything's OK, I have some good jobs lined up and maybe I can recuperate my losses in a month or two.
That forgiveness thing is still clouding my brain.
I had a consultation for my shoulder and I scheduled surgery for September. I put it off that long and hope so I can work these jobs I got lined up because after the surgery I won't be able to work for 6 to 8 weeks.
Can I come live with you for a few months and have some chefs cook for me????? 🤣😂😭... LOl! It's All got to be good!

You do more stuff then I can even imagine keeping up with. It has made me curious whether you have family members or friends that help you with the farm. Do you have a significant other or are you doing mostly all of this on your own. Understandably, this is a personal question so please reply as you're comfortable with. But you sure do a lot on the farm. 🤔
@IsayUncle I do this on my own. No GF no wife no family that I have contact with. There's an older couple (70's?) that will feed everyone and make sure they have water if I want to take off somewhere for a few days.

I'm in the same boat but I don't have all the farm animals. I did end up taking those three dogs but I wish I could have given to you because now I have six dogs.
I would love to get somebody else on the property that I can trust.
Let's get them to you... maybe haha. They're awesome!
@IsayUncle It's hard to find people you can trust. And then to have them on your property - things can come up missing or equipment gets broken. I'm sorry you're in the same boat too 😕

You nailed the breeds. I thought Beagle and maybe Collie because of the longer hair. When I looked up the rottie and bernese and you are spot on! That's exactly what they are. The two that are together are mostly Begal the one coming up on the side, he definitely has more rottie in him. His head is bigger and rounder and his personality is a little different than the other two too. And of course less beagle colors. THANKS. (good to know the breed better)
Let's keep our farms up and running. I'm trying not to get too discouraged because we never know what good things may come our way. So we prepare, stay hopeful and thankful the best we can as we plod forward. And sometimes, just resting is good! 😀.

P.S. I do live in a very rural back road area and it's real common for people to drop off dogs along this stretch of road. It's not right but it's a last ditch effort for people that can't afford them, all the kennels and things like that are full up and can't take anymore. They hope the dogs will get picked up and a lot of times they do. But you're right, WTF.... figure it out people! Argggh!
I would really like to fence in a large section of my property to become a conduit space and get these drop offs into homes. It wouldn't be a big burden for me too feed and care for the dogs. NOT become a dog keeper for the whole county, just for the dogs that get dropped off up and down our road. I think I'd be able to get rid of them through social media if I set myself up that way.
@IsayUncle Tbh I thought collie for a little too when I first saw them. I got lucky with my guess lol. I've been looking at alot of dogs online through the shelters and doing alot of research on breeds. Most of the ones at the shelters here need to be the only dog or they don't like cats. Which the cat doesn't come inside but I don't want him to fear for his life every time the dog is out lol. He came here like your new pups did at your place. Now I have a cat 🤪 I'm not even a big fan of cats tbh but he was half starved and I couldn't just let him d*e. So yeah I have a cat - Pita. Which stands for pain in the a** 😂

Cats are cool, I've had indoor/outdoor cats most of my life but I don't have any cats now and if I did they would be absolutely outdoors because I don't wanna deal with the litter box and all that good stuff. Cats are great for farms.
I will definitely get some when I have time to get some kittens and adopt them to the dogs. It seems like animals do really good with babies. From different varieties too.
Good point about word getting out about my dog idea. Definitely planted in my head that "MUM" is the word when I get to doing it. But word will still get out😬.

Why do you think your motivation has been lacking?
I get the feeling that you/we are at the busiest time of the year. Springtime into the summer and all the outdoor obligations and gardening and stuff that just never ends.
I think it would be easy to kind of get tired and lack the drive but still know onward we mst go.
So try not to get discouraged and just stay in it as you can. It'll all work out. But are there other things going on other than being extremely farm busy?
@IsayUncle I screw off a lot more than I used to. I think I was more constructive with my time. Idk I was thinking about this question earlier and came to the conclusion that maybe I was so used to running around to get things done so I could check on the dog. Now that she's not here I don't have to rush through things to check on her and I just have more free time

I am sorry you lost your dog, they really are SO loving and comforting. You sound like you have a lot of stuff that can keep you busy but also the freedom to chill out screw off sometimes. That's kind of good thing...
With a lot of stuff to do, time management sure can be tricky. I personally think we can all use a little bit of wine sometimes.... 🤣 So that's A-OK!

@Tinywhisper11 yeah. I tried taking the pup out to play in the dog area yesterday since it was overcast and didn't feel as hot as my mobile said it was. She only lasted about fifteen minutes. Just have to keep playing indoors with her except for early mornings on the weekend.

So before I can do my second assignment I have to revise the first. I failed two of the five sections. I didn't specify in the paper how I would gather information and I don't recall what the other point was. I'll have to look again. The example I found looked slightly vague to me but I guess that's what he wants. Trying right now to find resources in the university's library but not having much luck.
@Enthenia it's ok, it's just a little set back. You can fix this easily ❤ I hope you found the information you were looking for
@Tinywhisper11 not really but I found some templates that might help. I just need to see a completed paper to understand how it's supposed to be done. I've done the recommended reading but that's all base concepts and the theories, not practical application. The tech sites I found all basically repeat the concepts and theories but don't really explain anything.
I did find a completed paper on the student site I'm on. Going to look at it after I get somewhat caught up at work and see what my paper is missing.
@Enthenia it all sounds very complicated. But I'm glad you found that other paper. I hope whatever bits you need to redo, are simple things. Good luck ❤
@Tinywhisper11 I don't know if it's actually complicated or if it's just me and my limited understanding of this section of the technical world. The paper I found has helped me rewrite a couple of sections and I think I'll keep it on hand to help me in completing the rest of the assignments.
With eight assignments left to tackle, I can't exactly waste time redoing them. This course only goes until August. That may seem like a long time but we're already in the second week of June and trying to do the research, writing, etc. on top of work and keeping a dog entertained (& I guess sleeping should be in there somewhere), plus other obligations, the time I have available really isn't that much.

@IsayUncle well I submitted the revised paper yesterday. Will try to start on the second part today if I can get enough things out of the way at work.
My free time has always been virtually non-existent. It's just me so I have to take care of everything. Unfortunately, I don't always get to everything...
But it can't be helped. I mean, I can't task the cat to go to the store or the dog with household chores. I can't delegate my work to others at my company because there is no one else and no one else can do my classwork.

@YourShouder03 for some reason they feel like bigger tasks. i think 2nd year of uni really burnt me out lol so taking it a little slow

Hi. UUgggh.... sometimes it's just hard to get going again but once you do, it feels better. It sounds like your world got a little bigger with added responsibilities and things happening that you can't control.
It's Just Very Hard To get Started Again After Other Things Absorb Your Time.

Today I must fight to regain my Core Balance1
The past three weeks have been quite the roller coaster. My business has blossomed nicely and the financial gain is considerable but then equally balanced or worse, I've had numerous breakdowns that has consumed all my financial gain.
What a roller coaster!!! The most positive note is the business momentum now. While maintaining that and also the time consumption of doing repairs or having the repairs done, my core balance has gotten out of whack. Even though I was keeping them up pretty good for a couple weeks it has finally fallen into disarray.
I have kind of wasted the last two days so today it's time to motivate and activate.

Got badly sidetracked setting up internet banking! And dirtied up kitchen to cook.
All the laundry is washed and the last load is drying.

I just saw this post, sorry. It's two days old.😬.
Those are some great goals. I have a little bit of an eating disorder. I kind of eat constantly for pacification and maybe tension. I don't never sit down to a meal that much. By the time I cleaned up a bunch of dishes I'm already cooking up some other kind of snack or something and I usually eat standing up. It's not good. I have to do better.
I do stay away from a lot of junk food though and I really try to eat like a lot of lettuce/greens wraps and healthy foods. But sometimes I binge on baloney sandwiches and pizza. I have to do better but I haven't committed yet. I just started drinking more water because of that water gauge thing they put on the site few days ago.😅.
I hope you get ready for soccer good, you probably enjoy that a lot so I hope you do well.😀

Those are great goals - and very vulnerable and big goals. You can do them. Be gentle with you as you make these changes to accomplish the goals, and don't forget to listen to your wise mind. You know what you need. It's okay to ask for help - hard to do for many of us, but a great idea.
