Weekly sharing of Goals! Week #4 2024 (Monday 01/22/24 - Sunday 01/28/24)
I welcome anyone to commit to a goal here today.
But more importantly, talk about getting it done or why it didn't happen today.
To praise each other for our efforts and wins.
While supporting each other through trials and setbacks.
And to continue trying and not give up.
Remember:
Every Goal should be considered "Worthy".
Never belittle your achievements and be proud of yourself for your daily accomplishments!
Whether they be Complex or Simple.
Getting out of bed is a good day..... Good job I say!
Share your goals today, for support and encouragement.

Today I feel the extra pressure to leave home because father complained about my water usage, I use water to feel safe, like washing hands. But father doesn't like this and complains about it whenever he gets the time. I feel helpless and he treats me like garbage. During this time I feel extra pressure to just leave home and go to school but my work isn't finished. The work is so uncertain and causes so much pain that I can't hope for anything better. Also this work reminds me that my parents are here abusing me like a garbage but once I'm successful then they'll press me to give them their share. I feel trapped and I know future might be different but currently the pressure is too much. I just don't like it that I don't enjoy studying anymore, I didn't get any rewards for it, rather people hurt me when I was successful, couldn't enjoy my success. Thank you for listening.
I still plan to study to make progress and dance, laugh, enjoy nature to feel joy and happiness.

Thanks for sharing your hardships. Sometimes that's a hard thing to do but I'm glad you trusted this thread enough to open up some. If we stay in touch with each other and as time goes on, it would be good to talk about these things more.
Do your best to stay on course while navigating troubled waters (no pun intented). Try not to jump ship thinking that'll be better or easier some other way. Right now these are the problems you know, there's gotta be a way to make them the lesser deal than what they are.
It seems that human nature often dismisses other people's successes because of their own insecurities inadequacies. And it's done in a manner that it hurts our feelings... BUT IT SHOULDN'T!....
.... but it does 😕. Keep working for yourself and keep believing in yourself and I promise you; that hardship will lessen, but honestly I don't think it ever goes away . But if we choose to, we can blossom and grow way past it.
This is a quote from a Greek soldier that was written around 400 BC, like 3000 years ago. I'm sharing this with you so that you know it is 1000% OK to expect a little bit of praise from those people around you.
But if you don't get it, don't you dare let that tear you down. You stand tall and proud for your accomplishments. ALWAYS! 😊

My goal is just to complete my classes and make watercolor flowers. That is all. I don't have other goals. I receive SSDI and it is enough to live off of. I just want to do things that fill me personally up again. I have extended myself far beyond my reach in the last five years and I need a way to recharge and build my self-confidence. So that is what I've committed to. No one may see the emotional progress from this but me and that is ok with me. I don't want to share all of myself right now. Now is my time to be in tune with myself so that I can be there for others when the time is right.
@BriLovesEveryone
That is a wonderful goal. I'll bet your water color flowers come out beautiful. You said maybe people can't see your emotional progress. That means to me you have made some emotional progress and that is absolutely wonderful. No one else has to see it. Sometimes reaching our goals it's about slowing down and getting it right and sounds like you're on the right approach.
You got this! Remember share what you can when you can and that can help boost your confidence too.
