I started my day out by dry heaving in the bathroom sink...anxiety attack big time! I was given good advice from a crisis hotline...tell your therapist everything...no more pleasing! I took that advice and my therapy session was great...hard but great. Now I'm curled up in warm robe, a scented candle is gently glowing in the corner and I actually ate dinner! What I have taken away from this day is that you can go from the depths of disfuction to positive self care. For me it took being given permission to honestly reach out.
I'm passing that permission on.
I read this quote in a manga once, and I live by it now.
