@Fristo
I'm a huge fan of music, and I'm hoping to eventually become a musician once I get older. These are 10 of my top favorite songs ever, and they really are just a really good coping mechanism for me.. they saved me.
1. Nothing else matters (metallica, and basically every other album/song of metallica)
2. One, ...and justice for all, wherever i may roam (all by metallica)
3. The secret life of me (waterparks)
4. Square Hammer (Ghost)
5. Everlong (Foo fighters)
6. Get Dark (AFI)
7. Engine #9
8. The foundations of decay (MCR)
9. Be my girl - sally (The Police)
10. Cemetery gates, heaven knows i'm miserable (The Smiths)
@gentleSoul5183
This is a good list ^_^ I know most of those. The EP that AFI song is on totally slipped my radar, I'm going to have to listen to it.
@gentleSoul5183 great list. several of my faves on there
@Fristo I love this post even though it's hard to only pick 10 songs. I listen to different types of stuff (rock mostly) so instead I'm just gonna put down whatever song I would listen to in a good mood.
1. Power of Love by Huey Lewis & The News
2. Somebody's Baby by Jackson Browne
3. Your Love by The Outfield
4. Jessie's Girl by Rick Springfield
5. Just Like Paradise by David Lee Roth
6. Addicted to Love by Robert Palmer
7. Somebody by Bryan Adams
8. Everybody Wants To Rule The World by Tears For Fears
9. Crazy by Aerosmith
10. Angel by Aerosmith
Great taste! I have all these songs on my phone playlist!

Thank you!

Hey~ ♪( ´▽`)
It’s going to be tough for me to narrow it down to just ten, and it’s bound to change over time, but for now, I’ll list these favorites of mine (of which aren’t necessarily to be listened to in this order):
“Alive” by Aviators (I consider this my abuse survivor theme)
“Find Me” by Aviators (Love, friendship and hope through hardship theme)
“Fiction” by sumika (Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku is the anime that my boyfriend and I were watching when we became a couple)
“Moonlight Densetsu” by DALI (90s Sailor Moon awoke me to my geeky side and got me through a lot of hard times during my teen years)
“Wolf in Sheep’s Clothing” by Set It Off (Basically my response to my abusers; explicit language warning)
“Toxic Thoughts” by Faith Marie (My mental health theme)
“Perfectionist Complex” by yamichrome (My getting-through-life theme)
“Daddy! Daddy! Do!” by Masayuki Suzuki (A goofy, upbeat love theme for me and my boyfriend to bust a move to)
“If You Don’t Like Me” by Chloe Adams (My confidence theme against my abusers)
and last but not least, “Fight Like Hell” by JT Music (My war theme against my mental demons; explicit language warning)
This was pretty fun to compose. 😊 Thanks! Tagging @purpleTree4652 and @Sunisshiningandsoareyou for fun! Have you listened to any of these songs? What would your playlists look like?

@TheAutumnWitch, @Fristo,
Autumn, and Fristo,
This is so much fun! I have been going through my play lists on YouTube. I have a lot there. Right now my list is up to 30 and I have cut soooooo many out. I'm going to work on this, and will have to get back to you.

@TheAutumnWitch, and @Fristo,
Hi, my dear friends,
I decided not to take part in this exercise because it was too anxiety triggering for me. I had a lot of fun at first, but my level of anxiety related to this task just shot through the roof. So, unfortunately, I'm dropping out.
Thank you for including me though.

@purpleTree4652
🙁 I’m sorry that your anxiety gave you trouble, tree! I’d also like to apologize for my part in the anxiety. 😓 Remember, you’re never obligated to take part in something that makes you feel overwhelmed. I hope you feel better soon. ❤️🩹
♥️🍂🍁,
Autumn
@TheAutumnWitch,
No, it's ok. It wasn't your fault. You invited me to take part in something that I thought was really fun at first. My level of anxiety about this fun task even surprised me. I couldn't believe the amount of anxiety I began feeling. That is when I thought the best thing for me to do is to stop. It was supposed to be for fun. It wasn't necessary for me to continue.
Thank you for always thinking of me and including me. Your friendship means the world to me. :)

Tree,
Sometimes, anxiety interrupts even fun and joyful activities with friends. It doesn’t discriminate on when it’ll roadblock our lives. I’ve had my own struggles with it. Recently, I was hoping to attend a surprise birthday party for my best friend, but I got so anxious beforehand that I couldn’t go. My mind and body just shut down on me, so I had to stay home that night. (I have plans on making it up to my friend later.) I understand what it’s like in my own way. Anxiety can stop us from participating in things sometimes, but it can never hold us down permanently. I’m just happy to be here on this website with you. :)
Your friend,
Autumn ♥️🍁🍂

@TheAutumnWitch
Moonlight Densetsu 😍. I understand 100%. In good times and bad.... that song always gave me comfort.
@Luna268
Yayyy I found another Moonie! (*^▽^*) 🌙💖 Yes, you get me! I find myself humming it every here and there whether times are good or bad; it always makes me feel a little more grounded.
Music is my life. I don’t think I could pick just 10. My favorite genre is 80’s Hair Bands but I enjoy anything from Classical to todays hip hop.
I'm going to have to think about this...
I personally really like to listen to the music too. I often feel really desperate and depressed, and music makes me feel better and to get new emotions. Furthermore, I always create different playlist, mostly listen to the music on YouTube and was wondering about how to manage my Youtube playlist, how long is it, how to add new songs and to create a playlist that will be making you happy. What are your tips about how to manage your playlist?
@Fristo
Okay, okay AGHH /pos
this is for me, (jacket)
1. Deep cover - Sun Araw
2. Untitled 2 - The Green Kingdom
3. Around - Modulogeek
4. Heaven Or Las Vegas - Cocteau Twins
5. Choking on flowers - Fox academy
6. Harvey - Hers
7. Always forever - Cults
8. Beach walk - Whitewoods
9. Wrecking ball - mother mother
@Fristo
It's so hard to only pick 10! But here are some I could think of right now. I just found a bunch of songs I used to listen to, so some of those are on here
1: Little Do You Know (Alex and Sierra)
2: Let Me Down Slowly (Alec Benjamin)
3: La Da Dee (Cody Simpson)
4: Hoodie (Hey Violet)
5: Lily (Alan Walker)
6: Faded (Alan Walker)
7: I'm A Mess (Bebe Rexha)
8: Shower (Becky G)
9: Angel With A Shotgun (The Cab)
10: Human (Christina Perry)
Since I had a dream about rare music and about making music, I’ve deliberated long enough! It’s time, so they may not be my all time favorite songs because that’s so hard, here is an album for today:
- What Goes On by Velvet Underground
- Spaceman by Harry Nilsson
- Yellow Brick Road by Elton John
- Gates of Eden by Bob Dylan
- Handle With Care by The Traveling Wilburies
- My Sweet Lord by George Harrison
- With a Little Help From My Friends by The Beatles
- Imagine by John Lennon
- Heard From Telegraph Lines by Boards of Canada
- Avril 14th by Aphex Twin
I know, I know…very weird jump from classic pop folk and rock to electrónica, but, it made sense to finish with those reflective “instrumental” pieces :)
@Fristo
