Hello everyone. Not too long ago I was diagnosed with borderline personality disorder. However, I’ve been suspicious that this has been the case for about 4-5 years now. I constantly feel like I’m going insane, and no one understands. Yes, I act in impulsive and self destructive ways, ruining my relationships. My reputation isn’t good. I may look like a dramatic trouble maker but realistically my brain functioning is wired different than a neurotypical. I’m lonely. I really need someone to talk to- a group chat or a 1-on-1. No judgement. Just talking with other borderline individuals who need someone to talk to.

Hi there. 💜 That makes sense what you're saying. Like to other people it might look like random, self-destructive, impulsive tendencies. But inwardly, there are all of these experiences and thoughts/feelings happening that people don't really see or understand.

I'd be happy to message back-and-forth if you want to unpack what's been happening or just have someone to express things to.

I have BPD as well. I was diagnosed five years ago, but my symptoms emerged much earlier than when someone sat down with me to explain I was diagnosed with this condition. It’s definitely a different type of experience and the reason behind all the self destructive and impulsive behavior may be misinterpreted by others.

I don’t have the best reputation either. I’ve been rebuilding it for years now, and I’ve gotten much better in some aspects. Talking to someone who understands is helpful because it just feels like you don’t have to overly explain your mind to someone else - they just get it.

I was diagnosed with BPD about 8 years ago and until very recently I thought I had it under control. But I got into a serious relationship and it just kicked back up. All the fears and the sabotaging behaviours. I'm currently on the path of destroying my relationship because I cant get out of my head. It's the worst. But knowing there are others to listen and to vent to really helps. I'm here for anyone who might need it

I was diagnosed with BPD 3 years ago but have been dealing with severe symptoms for almost a decade. I could never understand why I couldn’t stop myself from destroying every friendship and relationship I had. The self sabotage is real and it really sucks being your own worst enemy. Having a diagnosis has helped me to understand my own pattern of behavior but unfortunately it still doesn’t stop it. I feel your pain

Hey there. The issues you have listed are like a mirror to my own. I'm not diagnosed professionally yet since I'm still gathering the courage to obtain expert consultancy, but I'm quite certain that I too have BPD. Impulsive indulgences, hypersensitivity, frequent uneven relationships and a strong sense of unexplainable feeling of innate loneliness, even when surrounded by loved ones that lend a sympathetic ear - is an as accurate description as I can put into words about "WHAT I LIVE WITH". I would very much like to connect with you ASAP! I just know that no matter how bleak the situation actually be for us BPD folks, connecting with each other is a crucial step that needs to be persued relentlessly. I dont know what the solution is or can be or anything, i only just know that reaching out to people with similar issues as myself is the ONLY productive thing that is in my power and I can do, and I should do. Do connect with me if you see this!

Cliche but unfailingly absolutely true - You ain't alone!....and neither am I!
