@QuietMagic

How am I feeling?

I have been having to deal with a lot lately. But I'm still here. I feel like, especially considering the attachment wound stuff still being a thing, loneliness can kick in easily. Which I think contributes to weekends being especially difficult for me. But I'm continuing to hang in there. At least, as I found out when I had my recent endocrinology check up, my Type 1 Diabetes control seems to be the best it's been since at least 2014 (based on a blood result) which is good.

What is something I've been able to accomplish recently?

I have used "grounding" recently and I am proud of myself for that as I am able to put my needs first when things like rage/anger impulses are felt. Overall, I think I have been getting better at recognizing and making the effort to put my needs first/make them known, especially when most necessary. Still improvement to be made but there's improvement.

And thanks for asking. I hope you are doing well.

@munchiegoosie

That makes sense that the attachment wound would still be there and that there are sometimes these empty stretches of time where it feels like things are lonely. 💜

That's really great that the Type 1 Diabetes control is going well! Also glad that you feel like you're able to notice your needs and care/advocate for them as needed! Almost like that rage/anger has a purpose behind it and is trying to get certain things to happen.

@QuietMagic,

1. How are you feeling today?

Today isn't a good day. I am fighting feeling very negative and angry.

2. What is something you've been able to accomplish recently?

I fixed a relationship between me and a co-worker. But I can't take all the credit. She had to be willing to repair the relationship, too. But, I took the initiative and planned out what to say.

Sorry that today's been such a struggle and that there are some really frustrating things happening. 😟 If you feel like talking about it, you're welcome to share more about it. (Would understand if that isn't helpful and just finding something comfortable or distracting feels better.)

That's wonderful that you were able to mend that relationship with your co-worker. 💜 If you hadn't planned things out and initiated that conversation, maybe things would have gone a lot differently, so she can't take all the credit either. 😊

Hi purple! I hope today will improve for you or tomorrow is better. Make sure to take care of yourself. What things have you been doing to help take your mind off of or improve your mood today?

Also, it's awesome you spoke to your coworker! It's really self-aware and amicable of you to give her some credit for her response. Even if you feel like you can't take full credit, it's great you did it and reached out to her, otherwise, this conversation may have never happened. I think it helps to fix sources of stress in your life, this is a great step 😀
