@QuietMagic
pretty tiring week but i feel grateful for the people in my life so it makes it all better<3
@QuietMagic,
1. How has your week been? Brutally difficult
2. What is something kind that someone has done for you lately? One of my managers offered me a room in her house to live in. I don’t think she was serious, but it was nice of her. Does that count?
@purpleTree4652
Wow, sorry that things have been so incredibly hard. 😟
Sure, we can say that counts, haha. That was kind of your manager to make that gesture of caring about your well-being.
@purpleTree4652
Hi Tree. 'Tis I, Platy. I miss ya :) that's all. I hope your coming week has more bits of 'sunshine' in it. Haha, sounds like making cookies or cake with extra chocolate chips or sprinkles. lol. Here we go ... may your upcoming week/wknd be filled with extra sprinkles of sunshine. ❤️ you, dear. I am glad to see you :) ~just me, Platy

How has your week been?
It's pretty rough, although eventful. Having faith that all things will work out at the end :).
What is something kind that someone has done for you lately?
That person would be myself hha .. Trying not to regret mistakes but view it as a learning opportunity to be a better person. As often, I'm my biggest bully 🥲🤦🏻♀️

Sorry that things have been rough but glad that it feels like things will eventually work out okay. 💜
I love your response to the 2nd question. I'm happy that that person you mentioned is being nice to you, lol. And that perspective on mistakes makes sense to me. Sort of like, "I did these things and I'm not happy with how that went, but now I'm able to avoid that and do things differently in the future based on having had that experience."
My week has been somewhat stressful because of school and stuff.
Something kind that someone has done for me was when a friend offered to help me with my physics class.
I could really use a hug. or twelve.
Last weekend my counselor and I decided it would be best for me to have a 'rest and rehabilitate' couple of days. This meant I did almost nothing for Halloween - which is okay. I do not think my car even moved the entire wknd from Friday evening through until Monday noon.
It was okay, I guess. I kept reminding myself that "it will be there later" when my mind would bring up jobs/responsibilities and other stuff I "have to get done." My counselor said that (Your responsibilities will be there later - when you get to them) so it felt okay to tell my brain "I do not need to worry about getting this and this and ... done right now."
My wknd was actually surprisingly productive. I did a load of dishes and one full load of laundry. Of both of those there is more even right now, but I got one done.
Yes, I could use a hug. And tucked in to bed would be very kind, too. But these days I am lucky to get even just one hug :/
** I did get scheduled with my neighbors upstairs that we will go out for lunch! (Tuesday!) They two told me, I'm on the schedule -their schedule. I am thankful for that! **
I offer (((hugs))) to anyone who needs one. ❤️ Platy

Hi Platy--I hope spider hugs are acceptable. 😊
That weekend sounds amazing. You were able to get some helpful chores done but otherwise you were able to rest and not do anything too stressful. At first beforehand there was a feeling of, "I shouldn't take a break when there are things to do" but after talking with your counselor you were able to persuade yourself of "It'll be okay. These things don't have to happen right this minute. It'll be there when I'm ready for it."
I hope your lunch hangout with the neighbor is enjoyable!
