You are such a creative person, I feel the emotions you tried expressing/ conveying through the poem. Fear of lagging and being behind in the race is so valid, something more or less everyone experiences, I wish it wasn't a race to compete against others :/ that surely adds unnecessary stress. I believe in you, you amazing human, you try hard and it does matter. 💜 Thankyou for sharing your poem and making this space for everyone else to share also.

जब हम रो नही पाते

सुख से सो नही पाते

जब हम खो नही पाते

तब बचपन याद आता है

जब चिंता सताती है

हमारे तन को खाती है

जब भी मन नही मिलता

तब बचपन याद आता है

जब हम टूट जाते है

जब अपने रू जाते है

जब सपने सताते है

तब बचपन याद आता है

बच्चे हम रह नही पाते

बड़े हम हो नही पाते

खड़े भी रह नही पाते

तब बचपन याद आता है

किसी को सह नही पाते

अकेले रह नही पाते

किसी को कह नही पाते

तब बचपन याद आता है

Here is a poem I wrote about my mental health :-)

Blessings, Day

PERCEIVING

Perceiving what we believe in

is deceiving and has no meaning

as life's mistreating

dishes out this beating

........Leaving us bleeding

But we cant see it if we close our minds

....and we cant think about this when we're blind

so walk away and you will find,

a friend here waiting for a sign!

So take your time

.....and organize

whats on your mind

and you'll wisely find

you're not really behind

so relax your eyes and you'll realize

you're fine just the way you are!

And you can reach for the stars

put cream on the scars

and then healing transpires

The delusional parts only confuse our goals

...and they corrupt our souls

Leaving us with a heart full of holes.

Set goals now and your mind will see

what closed eyes have failed to believe

Don't let sight deceive & keep us on our knees

....throwing logic into the breeze.

Winds at your back excited

Winds of hope reignited me.

Step by step confide

so we can share secrets of life

........Thinking

"what could be?"

.......But only if we let it,

if you hold back you'll regret it!

"There, Now I've gone and said it!"

We hold ourselves down......

Dirty on the ground.....

I've found myself tormented and bound

by invisibility. ......

I've ignored all possibility.....

so I must set myself free

of a self-inflicted confined mystery

....That causes so much mind-bending misery

This is a poem I wrote 2 years ago:

You feel that burn

coming out of your throat

when tears ooze out from your eyes

for the swords getting out from their mouths

Pain hurts

It sucks

Mocks are rocks

for a broken glass

Yet remember that moment

you feared the grave

it was black, blank

with ones you loved for a day

They cuddled my soul

with warm hands

around my hopeless hopes

for their love is a dorm

that never had a space for my folks

In here they refers to my family.

The moment I feared grave refers to an incident where it was said that the builidng I was in was having a time bomb, well luckily there wasn't.

This poem was written shortly after the sudden death of Harner’s brother. Using art to process grief is so beautiful to me. When I’m having a hard time with someone’s passing, I always turn to this poem for some comfort.

When all is lost

When my tears flow down my face

When I begin to hurt myself

When I begin to starve

When I can’t take much more.

I think of her

I smell her beautiful scent

Imagine her beautiful smile

I put the sharp edge down

The beauty of your heart, so fine
it softens the hardened corners of mine
