I have forgotten how warm and loving and accepting hugs are, I get no type or kind of physical contact. I am 59 and probably the most depressed I have felt my entire 59 yrs. Nobody really has time to give a shit in the real world. It just wants what it can take from you, everything you love and care about eventually goes away and nobody gives two💩about others. The cruelty and selfishness in todays world is pathetic. I guess you could say I need a lot of hugs. I feel zero love and after loosing 4 dear people the week of Christmas and New Year it is obvious God is oblivious.

I hear you, and life can certainly feel that way often times but I have recently found groups to get involved with that helps. I have good people around me now and I hope it lasts. Im your age so I hear what youre saying. Im so sorry for your losses. We have to distract ourselves and be very kind to ourselves. Try getting involved in an online art therapy group or once a week bingo. But try to find a good healthy distraction.

I feel this...depth of sorrow and it will not leave or lessen or go away. There is nowhere to put this. I feel as though it will consume me. Just reaching out here for a hug to try to lessen this and make things a little better.
And on another note, this sorrow is making me feel so connected to everyone else feeling this pain, this sorrow and nowhere to put it or no one to hear.
So I am, from the truest part of me, offering such loving hugs to anyone who needs them. Take as many as you would like - there is no limit :) They will not run out.
Even if you FEEL alone or FEEL you are breaking, you got this! Take this hug and I hope it helps you put Your sorrow down, even if just for a moment.

I feel you about getting older - I have anxiety every year with that. Getting older - what does this even mean? I would think of all the negatives and all the fears associated with it...but there are Good things about this too - switching that focus to all the good thigs about getting older and leaving behind what we used to be caught up in when we were younger. There is a great inner wisdom that comes. <3

*hugs* 😮 by me saying me will be oldie this year is that I’m ageing up hahaha, I’m joining the adults side in a few months and imma be sad to basically leave my cups siblings (people who are so close they are like siblings) all by themselves on the teenies side. But I guess the good thing about ageing up 😮 is that imma be everywhere on the oldies side instead of being everywhere on the teens side hahaha. *~* Emo isn’t ready to be 18 yr old adult yet, the responsibilities are scary lol. XD

Yuppers, but just because you are not an " oldie" in age wise ( as in..a lot older than you are, lol) what I am trying to say still fits. Because no matter what age you are and are going to become, there Is a loss but also a gain. No one is really ready to let go of everything and just march forward into the unknown. But there are also so many benefits and positive things ahead of you. :)

Hello Shining and group at 7 Cups,
My wife made it home after I walked out from our apt to our car that she was driving that got stuck on the side street. I dug her out of the snow with a snowshovel I borrowed from the custodian of our building and drove the car to our main road. But had to dig out the driveway from the rivulets of snow that were blocking our entry driveway that the main street snowplough had left behind. Made it back inside the underground garage with my wife and car. Hallelujah.
Enjoying a tea right now after a hot shower to ease my tense neck and shoulder.
