Forum team is asking for your help and inviting you to join in for an event!
Well support many people and at the same time you can earn a special badge and some cheers too!

This is called Answerathon
What is it?
An Answerathon, is an answering marathon!
It takes a lot of courage to start seeking support and type it out and open up to the community in forums, and if that post goes unseen or doesnt get a reply then the person will feel unheard and might feel discouraged from seeking support so by this we want to make sure everyone is heard and every post gets a reply, This will be a one week long event in which everyone is asked to reply to as many needs reply posts as they can!
When do we start?
The Answerathon will start from this Friday (September 11) and end next Thursday (September 17)
Who can join?
Everyone! (Listeners, members, teens and adults)
How do I join in?
All you need to do is fill out this short form to let us know you are interested!

Everyone who participates in this event will get the accountibility badge. The minimum number of posts to be replied for participation is 2 posts per/day which makes a total of 14 posts during the Answerathon.
For every post you reply to after the first 14, youll receive 10 cheers!
The one contributor with most replied posts, will get 500 extra cheers too ^^
Reply to any post from the needs reply queue or choose the posts on titles you feel passionate about from the titles or by going to sub communities and choosing needs reply from the sort by drop down

What are we going to do ?
@AlwaysForYou197 the event consist of going to the needs reply queue and answering as many posts as you can! The idea is to give every post in there a compassionate, emphatic answer! The more posts you answer to, the lower the queue will get and more prizes you will get 
Our overall goal is to make sure everybody gets a response, making a post takes a lot of courage and that should be validated! Hope you can join us!

Hi. FYI there are calendar date typing errors on both
the application form
and
in this post.
The application googledoc form says:
"this event will take place from friday september 11 - thursday september 16"
This post says:
"The Answerathon will start from this Friday (September 11) and end next Thursday (September 18)"
But for September 2020, Thursday is actually on day 17 !!!
So which day is the actual end date?
Both the form and/or this post need correction please
so we know the true end date
because it is a competition, right?

hey hey! i'm sorry for the calender error and thanks for letting me know, the true ending date is thursday 17th
i'll edit both post and the form and make sure to remind the true date this friday when we start!
Its seems like such a good idea, really looking foward to participating! (can i ask if we have to log replies or have to prove how many posts we reply to? ☺️)

Thank you! I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything. I plan to do it from my computer anyways but on the off chance I use my phone wanted to make sure I knew how to do beforehand.
