2018 PB Award Winners: MonBon & AnyaS
The PB Award is given every year on 7 Cups birthday to an individual who truly embodies the mission of 7 Cups. They are someone who makes a profound contribution to our community, works through challenges and aims to make our community stronger for all. This year we are honored to give this award to one teen and one adult!
@MonBon is the adult PB award winner this year!
It is with great excitement, that we announce this years PB award recipient as MonBon! MonBon has been a dedicated listener and volunteer since June 2014. Upon joining 7 Cups, Mon immersed herself in the community. She worked hard to be a supportive listener, friend and leader. Eventually making her way up to the Forum Ambassador role, a post she has held for over 2 years. With her co-leader and ally, Anomalia, she has been a force in the forums. In her role, MonBon has done many incredible things for our community including - made suggestions on how to improve safety in the forums, update the forum posting guidelines, trained and updated all of the volunteer forum mod applications, updated the forum mentor leader role and applications, reorganized forums to be more accessible to members, helped build out the forum flagging features, manage complex conflict situations and been an incredible role model and friend to us all. One thing I love about working with MonBon is she always tells me the truth. If she has feedback to give, she delivers it in a professional, thoughtful way. She is never afraid to speak up is something doesnt feel right.
MonBon embodies the vision of 7 Cups. She believes in our work and has dedicated countless (and at times, frustrating) horus to our mission. The forums would not be the same without MonBon. We are incredibly lucky and proud to have her as a member of our ambassador team. For these reasons, MonBon is the winner of the PB Award this year.

You certainly deserve it, through all of your hard work onsite but more importantly for your dedication to making sure that everyone feels welcomed and included. You always go out of your way to make sure that people know that their work is appreciated and Im so grateful for your support in my work towards getting teen star! Both of these people are truly inspirational and have been phenomenally dedicated to the 7 Cups Community. These are absolutely wonderful people that wholeheartedly deserve this recognition, and they have worked exceedingly hard to fulfill the mission of 7 Cups. We are so lucky to have both of you and we cannot thank you enough for all your commitment to the community, it is obvious how passionate you are and how much you believe in the vision. MonBon, so well deserved! I see how much you do on the member side, and I know I only see a portion of what you're doing! You're always so supportive of all the forum team, whether it's forum related or not! I used to think of you as a peer in terms of life stage, I was surprised when I saw some things that showed the personal side a little bit some time ago, you are younger than some of the students I had. You handle some tough situations with amazing grace and professionalism!
Anya, I don't really know you well at all, but look forward to seeing more of you over time. It sounds like we have some pretty amazing teens in general who will hopefully stick around as they age up!

Congratulations to @MonBon as well! Mon, I'm so excited to see you get this award ^-^ You really do embody the 7 cups values, and no matter what wild things are thrown at you, you have this incredible ability to pull through and have some amazing things to show for it! It's been such an honour to get to work with you on the forum team, you continue to inspire me to push through and achieve my goals on 7 cups (even when they can seem unachievable! *flashes back to drowning in birthday planning* :P) all the while maintaining such an friendly, positive, and professional relationship. Everything you work towards on the site is so amazing, and it's especially evident through the forum team - we wouldn't function without you and all the hard work you've put into the forums over these past few years!

You are the perfect partner, a fantabulous forum worm, an amazing and ambitious ambassador, and a magnificent mentor.
